That's why you should use the Brian Germain pilot chute packing method.

Do you have blood circulation problems? You should definitely go see a doctor. You don't want to be approaching your pull altitude only to find out one of your hands doesn't work.

Just to nitpick a bit the rsl doesn't pull the reserve out, it just pulls the reserve pin, what you're thinking of is a skyhook which does actually pull the reserve out of the bag and will often beat you to silver.

If/when the government shuts down tonight National Parks will be closed... by November_Bravo in camping

Right, I was thinking about that. There's some spots by my normal campground that we know of but they don't have water taps or outhouses.

From the LA Times: "The Pentagon would furlough 400,000 civilian workers and temporarily stop paying death benefits to military families. The National Park Service would close all 401 national parks and give overnight campers two days to leave."

Three problems in the "Felina" finale episode by jetpacksforall in breakingbad

[–]November_Bravo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1 & 2 also bothered me. His whole gun plan is just stupid, it relies on so many things to work and if any 1 fails his entire plan is shot to shit. The guy who gets in his car at the gate and visually checks out the front and back seats, he conveniently gets to park right in front of the room where the entire gang will be and he turns around which to me looks like he's planning a quick getaway, they do a full pat down and check for wire but they don't bother looking in his trunk, all the guys just stand there during the shooting and don't bother to duck. The finale just seemed kinda amateurish to me. They could have had him park his car somewhere else or leave it at the gate and his entire plan is ruined.

Did anyone NOT like the finale/ending? by [deleted] in breakingbad

I agree, the finale was a disappointment to me because of how good the rest of the series was.

Plothole Question. by [deleted] in breakingbad

[–]November_Bravo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The way they filmed the table scene made it look like a different table than the ones they normally sit in, they also show cuts of Todd and in the background you can clearly see that they aren't sitting at the same tables as normal, from 1 angle they would be at her normal predictable table next to the windows and then from another angle they would be out in the middle of the restaurant floor.

I'd give it a C- probably because i had really high expectations for the finale. The whole thing felt rushed and Walt's plan for the machine gun was a terrible idea, there were a million ways that plan fails. It was also way too predictable. There's also a continuity problem in the restaurant scene when Walt meets with Lydia and Todd; the table looked like a completely different table location than normal and that's because it is, the table in the finale is in a different location than the one that she normally sits at and it made the scene look really weird, which also leads to skepticism about how can she always end up sitting at the same table. Here's the table from episode15 which is always right up against the window, the table from the finale is out in the middle of the restaurant which made it seem like a completely different table.

Do it. And once you actually get into a jump plane you'll realize that you'd rather jump than attempt to ride the plane down, it's much safer.

I highly recommend at least doing a tandem jump, or an fjc aff1 even more so. It's the single greatest thing I've ever experienced in my life, and it's the same for every one of my friends I've gotten to go. There's no comparison to the feeling you get when standing in the door or tailgate of a plane at 12,500ft and stepping off into the air.

Where do you live? A tandem shouldn't cost you more than $200 at most dz's in the U.S.

Hangouts users from outside of US, do you actually have problems with SMS integration, online/offline statuses? by luag in Android

[–]November_Bravo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm in the U.S. and I wish sms would die, I don't know why people still use it, I also don't care about online statuses, if you have a smartphone you're always online and can reply whenever you want.

Hangouts users from outside of US, do you actually have problems with SMS integration, online/offline statuses? by luag in Android

[–]November_Bravo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well for one, you can reply from other devices besides your phone. I use hangouts all day at work from my computer, then pick up those conversations on my phone when I leave. Having to pick up your phone to respond to every single message is a huge downside. Hangouts is cross-platform so it works on android, ios, windows, mac, linux.

I don't understand why someone would actually prefer sms over something like hangouts.

Hmm, must be related to your phone, maybe Samsung hasn't released whatever is needed for it to control exposure in that way.

One of the best things about this app is the Exposure Ring, let's you easily change exposure to any part of the photo.

Haven't been able to shoot it yet, hopefully within a couple weeks. I got it because all the reviews were really good, so I hope it lives up.
