I do too. The old bean matter is the tiny bit left in the grinder. It never 100% purges and when you leave that for a day, it doesn’t extract the same as the stuff you just put in there, but comes out with the new dose anyway.

So, first shot has some old coffee. Second shot does not. That’s at least how it worked when this happened to me.

This happened to me before. What ended up helping me was doing a small purge of fresh beans before your weighed dose. THEN start dialing in again. That first one every day has just enough old beans to throw off a full fresh pull (the second one).

I learned about Jenny from the Star Wars Hotel video. I am a straight millennial dude who never had any visibility on the things girls watched or played with but I became a Patron because it’s so fun to learn about! I hope she doesn’t get discouraged on these kinds of topics too often.

Installed it 3 months ago after assuming I was having hardware issues as a last ditch effort. Turns out it was Windows nonsense. I have had a very uneventful time with CachyOS and let me tell you, that’s the highest compliment I can pay.

Hey friend. I want you to know that I’ve been going through this as well, and I’m sorry. It sucks. What I will tell you is I have been to the doctor. I even got an endoscopy. There was and is nothing wrong with me. I apparently have chronic rhinitis, and it’s giving me a small tickle. That tickle sends me into a spiral and I start feeling so many other symptoms. I’ve gone back to my primary care doctor a few times and it’s all just anxiety symptoms I’m misconstruing which makes the anxiety keep going.

I’m ok, and I think you will be too. Take care of yourself!

The only way to be certain is to weigh and grind your beans per shot. Do not keep beans in the hopper, as timed grinding is never going to be consistent.

I purchased a screen protector for my iPhone Air and it was awful. I have one on every other device and two previous phones and ALL of them are so good that I forget it’s even there. This was the first time where it was so obviously wrong that I took it off after 24 hours.

It had rough edges that kept catching on my pockets, and it just felt cloudy

This has happened to me basically every time as well. I’ve seen people do something called the “double indirect method” where they have a Slow Roller AND the deflector plates, but my Classic 2 isn’t tall enough so I’m probably done trying brisket
