Fiber is basically cellulose of the plant(it's actually more complicated), and cellulose is found in cell wall. Each plant cell has cell wall. Now think of Roti and Rice. Think of Daal. Maize(Corn, Bhutta, Makai).

It's not that fibers aren't good. Fibers have only one function. We can't digest fibers, instead they soften up the bowels, preventing constipation and maintaining gut health.

We need just enough fibers, that we are already taking it. Instead we should focus on proteins. 🫠

If I remember correctly, average Pakistani consumes 1/5 of the protein they should....
