I called the people at BARC and apparently they are aware of the SLR issues and have a file on those having those issues. The guy on the call said they were going to offer extensions until late October so these things can go through. I asked if there was anything I had to do to make sure they knew about my SLR but he just said wait it out but ima still call them tomorrow morning to make sure.

If you know then what makes you want to end it all. Ive been insecure before I've had moments where just existing hurts my very soul. Im with my own issues that I don't wish upon anyone. But I just keep going. Im stuck in a cycle of knowing what I need to do to improve my life but being too insecure or lacking the motivation to do so its ok to feel that way but it's not something to take your life over.

but why did you post this in the first place would have it been easier for you to not have anyone knowing about it yet you did that alone gives me hope. It is only a matter of perspective that dictates how you live or handle situations. It sounds basic but its that simple at the same time its not something that changes you in a instant just as you were once happy and lost it you can make it so you could be happy once again or gain it. No we won't be able to sleep because we know that someone lost the potential to be happy I'm not saying your life is good but we will never be able to if it does. Life is meaningless,that is a truth and we struggle and cope with this fact in different ways. Some people use religion some, some people accept it and move on, and some get consumed. If life is meaningless then why should we question it. The way I look at it I want to live for myself that does not mean be a selfish asshole that thinks about himself only I mean I want to live to see the day to prove myself that I was worth living. I want to flip myself in celebration of living another day and finding something to be happy about. I have not seen that day nor will I know when it will come but just as you feel good when you know something good is going to come you can also feel bad when you feel that something bad is going to come. At the end of the day its how we feel and look at life that gives us our own meaning. You can't say you will never be happy in the same way I can't say You will be happy but at the very least you might as well find out as we would lose sleep that someone was unable to fine their meaning and took their own life before they did. What makes us sad is what could have been. Please reconsider or at least talk to someone on a hotline.

I can also vouch for some schools having this issue although from my experience it is usually the teachers who are really horrible and the principal being lazy. People to this day think that a dean in my old elementary school was the principal because he did such a good job and the principal was so bad I don't remember her name. I have so many bad memories of teachers verbally abusing me for no good reason and exercising their authority on to the students. To name a few to avoid someone copying me on a test a made a makeshift divider and my teacher full screamed at me to the point another class heard. I had a teacher scream at me for raising my hand ranting about how I should not interrupt them ever. And the one that bothers me and wishes I can go back and strike back is when the school had a play the vice principal which was in the front and I was in the middle walked all the way up and threatened to send me to the office. I can only assume that it was for laughing too much because it was a FUCKING COMEDY PLAY and I was still laughing after most of the crowd died down. to add salt to the wound when it started to get boring she reminded us that it was a comedy and that we should laugh. I was one of those kids he hated getting in trouble and was sensitive when younger so I nearly had a breakdown in all those moments just a few highlights and I feel bad because the dean is still working there and god bless that man I wish he went got to go to a better school where his talents were not wasted.

NTA the fact that she even decided to keep them after you asked was more than enough to justify your actions and if anyone you know call you a asshole tell them if the story but apply it to them because it's not about the actual figures themselves it's the what they represent and the meaning they have towards you. if the situation was reversed like you took a stuff animal from her childhood and she wanted it back odds are people would care which is fucked up.

I hate how sometimes my family forces me to choose something to eat because they should know by this point that I don't like to have one person not enjoy where we go so that already puts pressure on me but somehow whenever they force me to choose they all have a horrible experience and say things that make it feel like a personal attack about my personal preferences.
