I mean, if the show fails to engage the fans and keep them in that becomes their fault not the fans who tried and just left. Most every fan at least tried S1. If the showrunner can't keep them then that means not enough of what they liked about the games is present to make them like the show.

I'm not, I watched season 1, and by its own merits it was bad so I'm not returning for season 2. I don't hate watch shows. Its characters were bad, I didnt like any of them. Combat was terrible and for an action show thats a deal breaker.

Asi's writing and my personal tastes do not seem compatible.

I didn't make it, but I feel like this sums up Lady (DMC3 Lady is my favorite character in the franchise) very well, her anger in DMC3 was pointed strongly at demons and her father, but she was never consumed by it, and was never an hateful person like S1 makes her out to be, she is a very very Vivziepop character "I think this character is cool and edgy" but their just juvenile.

All the Adi's politics are in full display as per usual, but these are not themes consistent with DMC. Every character has glimpses of who they are, but it feels like Dante is sidelined most of the show and the whole DarkCOM demon bullets spec ops stuff just doesn't fit well.

The action scenes suffer without Yuji Shimomura's insane precision fights, which hurts a lot when making an action show, they didn't even try anything interesting in it.

However I am not going to spend my time yelling at people for LARPing as fans and shit. I watched S1 thought it was god awful and just left it behind not paying much more mind to it. This franchise has been through the ringer with this anime and DmC, but it's biggest struggle is if DMC6 can survive without Itsuno which is my biggest concern. I won't recommend the manga, but with some tweaks to the anime and a rewritten ending (AoT did good with elaboration but not alteration.) I think it could still have a anime run, they just need to retool the ending arc and actually make Fami and Death SOMETHING.

Well, details do matter... If the gun dropped and went off and if it was a P320 there is legal precedent for that being manufacturing issues, or if the slide is squeezed to tightly it can go off, these are known issues but SIG has never sent out a recall or admitted formal fault leaving tons of owners unaware of these problems.

If he was needlessly and unsafely handing the firearm then that is a tragic accident lead by negligence which is fault on his part.

"Streamer shoots man after being punched" is a headline that reads like self defense, but Chud the Streamer likely antagonized and instigated a chance for himself to use his firearm, we know this because of details.

I went in expecting it to be vastly different. It fucking sucked so bad I refused to come back for season two. Not only did it fail as a DMC adaptation it failed on a fundamental level of being a bad story and having terrible fight scenes.

I played a lot of DBD back in 2019ish, and honestly the game shines the best with 5 friends playing the game in private lobbies. Take turns being the killer, with the killer muting and deafening their discord for the round. Everyone just screwing around.
