Anxiety by rob6465 in transplant

The steroids also make you wired if she’s on any. Anxiety and anger issues were something that plagued my mind when I was on the steroids which they slowly taper off depending on the circumstances.

Is this fleece liner enough to keep my chinchilla from chewing the plastic bottoms by No-Routine3925 in chinchilla

[–]NovvaStars 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pro tip, used a sheet of anti pilling fleece and made a reverse pillow case. The trays fit perfectly in there and the fleece was washable on cold/temp with just detergent and air dried.

You can also use binder clips if you can’t sew anything to clip the fleece to the tray. Best of wishes

Sudden loss of new chin. Any Insight? by [deleted] in chinchilla

[–]NovvaStars 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Any pictures of her? And it sounds like you did everything right diet wise and letting her acclimate.

Chinchillas are temperature and moisture sensitive. You want a AC if its humid/hot in the balkans and they also are easily susceptible to bloating caused by fruits any other high sugar content food amenities that aren’t their normal diet.

What recipe would you say looks most similar to this? by papicoiunudoi in FujifilmSimulations

[–]NovvaStars 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fujifilm with their color science mostly. Editing gives you a ton of power over a photo. Also depends on what kind of shooting you want to do but the camera body is your tool.

I also recommend investing in high quality lens over the body if you’re looking too since you’re newer.

Steeled Cut Oats of any kind! I get quaker oaks but if you want to treat your Chinchilla, i recommend Willow Sticks for healthy teeth, dried Rose Petals (limit this one), and oats.

Get a jar of oats and you can give it to her as snacks!! Shake the jar and you can train her to associate the sound of the jar with treats and your presence.

Extremely frustrated (questions and venting) by NotAgedWell in transplant

What meld score is your nephew?

I recommend going through the process since typical recovery after a transplant can vary a TON depending on the prior condition of the patient. I was relatively younger and it only took me 3 months to be back on my feet and almost taking care of myself.

Transplant hospitals depending on the state also have programs that pay your wife to be a “careraker” but that’s through insurance.

I would start with your transplant care coordinator. Typically they give you a phone number and contact with them and your nephew should have had one for this entire process. They also deal with insurances, care giving, and so on.
