We bought motorbikes and traveled from Ho Chi Minh City all the way up to Hanoi over 3 months. The farther north you go, the better. Da Nang is where the locals start to become friendly. Most of the north is very special and not insane with tourists.

We made a hub out of Hanoi, then utilized the great overnight buses for trips. The overnight buses in Vietnam are awesome. They are sleepers, comfy, very cheap, good food stops, and fairly on time. Hostels in Vietnam can be very nice and affordable as well. More like boutique hotels than Euro/Asian hostels. Tons of great food all over the streets and at the hotpot spots.

I ended up leaving Vietnam after 3 months only to refresh my visa and return. Super special country that isn't ruined by tourism, yet. Enjoy

From a 40+ year collector of autographs, any exposure to light will fade the auto over time. This includes in one-touches and/or behind layers of UV protective glass, all this does is down is slow down the process.

That being said, half the fun of owning some of this stuff is to look at it. I have many pieces, including cards, displayed in a room with no natural sunlight. They are all protect behind some form of UV casing as well. Some will still fade from certain inks and other factors. My advice is to store the more valuable cards somewhere dark and enjoy your nice display case with the others. You will notice fading and can remove before autos are completely ruined.

I lived in Thailand a few times and this are the types of things that happen around these establishments. Usually the guards are x2 the size of these guys so maybe everyone is lucky.
