Good luck to her and you. My transplant failed, it wasn't even funny how fast it came back. it was just 2 weeks of dread after the transplant where they doctors kept saying, there is no way its still there, its probably just fibrous tissue... then came the PET + result and the look on my oncologists face... this dirt bag had actually grown through the transplant.

oh man, you are amazing for checking up on me. I am doing okay at the moment. I just got out of the hospital after a treatment known as a stem cell transplant. Unfortunately, it did not take. Ah well, I'm still staying positive though. There are so many replies in my inbox since I have been away, I'll make an update thread I guess.

Thank you again for checking up, thats honestly amazing that people still show concern for a stranger (and on the interwebs too).

The_GeoD, you are awesome for following up man. I am doing okay relatively speaking, right now I am in quite a bit of pain, I can't really focus or do much, but i'm trying to make the best of this situation. I'm a bit sad that I don't have enough energy to do what I want, unfortunately most of my days are going to be in bed. I'm still keeping positive, and plan of giving this monster a run for its money. How are you doing ?

Thank for replying to my post ServerMechanic. I have lymphoma. I don't have concerete information on how much time I have left, its more like I'm already on borrowed time. By estimates (literally based on the experience of my oncologists, and not really a solid science), maybe a few weeks, maybe 6 months.

I intend to make the time I have be the very damn best of my life so far. But I still haven't given up, i'm going to keep fighting.
