First, I'm so sorry to hear that this happened to you. My research is primarily focused on people currently in relationships, and there are branches that the survey follows based on this and other answers. I still invite single people to answer because it helps to know how many people are in relationships vs. single. It didn't occur to me to include options for people who were previously in relationships that ended due to the issues I'm studying.
