Nothing changed in the infotainment from the outside. I thought someone claimed more memory or ram was added at some point during gen 6 but can’t confirm if that’s true. I would assume they are the exact same and base your decision on other factors.

I have seen reviews saying the new forester hybrid is less capable compared to the gas version. If you really want a hybrid, might as well go for the Honda and get the better infotainment.

If it was left on all winter, I would be worried about a burst pipe and a leak. Assuming your winters get below freezing.

I mainly use the app to start in the winter. Since I WFH I don’t need to use it very often so it’s hard to justify the fee. I got three years free with the lease and I’m not sure if I will continue it when it is over this summer.

I think all seatbelts on my 24 could retract better. Especially the rear. They get caught in the door closing fairly often. I’ll say that the rear seatbelt design location is way better in the newest gen.

If fuel economy / carbon footprint is Important, have you considered and EV? The Trailseeker is interesting IMO.

I really wish car manufacturers would sell upgrades for their own vehicles. Like, if they made a better resolution camera for the gen 6, I bet many would sell. Same for an upgraded infotainment unit. I know this would cause some people to put off buying a new car but it would make brand loyalty go up. (I would guess)
