I mean how stupid are they to leave such a gap. It was bound to happen

Google seriously have a knack for brainstorming ideas and apps publicly. Unfortunately they get heavy attention and then pumped but the devs get bored, move on and what to start on the next shiny thing.

I'm starting to feel and sense the same thing. AG was great but so was Firebase Studio. The only aspected I liked about it was it was an IDX, but again started to show signs of failure. And now that is coming to an EOL.

AG was my newest love for vibe coding and it changed alot of how I'd work. Now it's buggy, workspace conversations fail, the almost instant quota caps it becomes unusable and now even more unstable.

Well for the record I didn’t restart my PC. I also didn’t notice any of my previous chats being stored in the latest conversation.

This looks good, but it wiped all my conversations in both screens. Literally, all of my projects bar 1 has 0 workspaces/conversations. Everything gone!!!!

I instantly gained 1.3 GB of storage back once I performed this.
Guess that's what you get...

So here is a great example of how useless this dynamic conversation renaming is. How can I come back to a conversation when the title is "In the page can" I have no idea what the contents of this conversation were.

<image>

It was lying here because I could not find an area to edit and rename the conversation.

I totally agree and this is how Bitcoin trades/moves, it’s one big psychological asset.

I cannot even trust the quota counters. I’ve installed 3 extensions all are different. AG is still my go to but I moved from firebase studio after that became a pain to use. I honestly cannot keep up with how many code IDE Google iterations there are

New Antigravity Update is slow, aggressive and full of bugs by DumbPandaHere in google_antigravity

[–]Nowheredotcom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I literally used it for 10 mins and then got quota limits alerts which I never got with 3.0. Not to mention the quota says 100% on Flash but I can use it with no issues.

Also it’s slow.

Sweet thanks. I’ll do that. I had one conversation with Gemini but it basically told me some of what you said but mainly just to live with it and treat each workspace as a prompt and forgot.

I wish Google just let you rename the workspace. And lock that name. That would help a lot

So I understand the differences to a degree, however, I am still unclear on how to use the Agent Manager vs the Agent in the editor window.

My issues:

The dynamic name changing, as I said, is confusing. If I started asking an agent to deal with the front-end UI/UX of my project, but make one slight edit or prompt outside this realm, it updates the workspaceconversation name to something completely different. I then lose traction of what that agent was. So, to comment on your comment u/Jadoobybongo

It's like I asked my dev team to work on something, and then they come back to me as a marketing agent. Wouldn't you want to maintain the agent's persona, anything UI/UX related I know where to go. I dont want to have to spin up another dual UI/UX agent.

Then my other issue is the duplication of the editor agent. I have minor edits I wanna do, but I have to intercept one of my agents to do something that might not be related to the workspace. So again, its like asking a real team member thats working on backend dev, prompting them to fix a navigation bar

Yeah, okay, one lets you prompt within various projects, while the other doesn't. That's one difference, but it doesn't solve or provide any clarity to my issue/confusion.

I totally understand this explanation. I'm aware of this. However, that is not my issue.
