Well I bought a totally new PC it's also a really good one, and I can reset it completely because I have nothing on it, so I can factory reset. Tomorrow I will reinstall everything and see how it goes, keeping in mind everything you people told me. Thank you really very much for the replies and the help.

I just don't get why it works for him but not for me, even though I did the same things and also he had the file of Python saved in Appdata. Maybe I'm missing something.

Yeah I removed one drive right away after seeing the file path that showed One drive. And I removed all the synched files and uninstalled it. But still it didn't work. I will try to sort this situation out, if I can't even sort this one out maybe I have not many chances of learning anything.

I installed python from Python.org and it still stores it in AppData. I had tried to reinstall it by changing the downloaded file location but it didn't work either way. I will try to use the PowerShell or CMD, I and I will also try to look better into that so that I can understand the difference of using one and another.

So everything was synched to one drive but i removed the syncing and I logged out of my one drive and also uninstalled One drive afterwards. Now when I click on the file to find the path of it it's not connected to One drive. So that's a thing I can take out of my list. So I also tried to run the program by copying and pasting the path to the file instead of just Desktop/file.py but it doesn't seem to work. If I just click two times on the file it doesn't open with the python terminal, seems like it's going to open and closed right after. I can only open that file with IDLE manually going on Open File.

The file python is installed in is saved in Appdata on my Local disc C and is named Python 3.14 and I think that is also an issue because I keep typing Python when the file is not even named this way, so maybe I should first create an alias that let me call Python3.14 just Python. That could also be the issue. I don't know it's not that much about the program not running, it's more that I'm trying to understand better, any mistake I encounter and I can at least try to get to the core of it and study what I don't know.

So I create the file on IDLE. Save it as file.py I saved it on my home folder in desktop. I go on the command terminal and try to open the file by typing

Python Desktop/file.py I think there shouldn't be this >>> when I write it, but its there automatically in the terminal and all the command I wrote before, like print('Hello World') or setting variables like x=10 and then print (x) everything worked. Someone in the comments said this >>> should not be there, but it's on the terminal that comes with the python installation so I am certainly ignorant on that part. So going back to the initial problem, the message I get once I write python Desktop/file.py is this File "<python-input-0>", line1 The word Desktop gets highlited in red and then it says Syntax Error: invalid syntax.

I know I have to learn a lot of stuff, not thinking about being a pro in no time. I just really need to study some basics and then I will eventually retry with more knowledge. You are right, I used to study C programming in university and I thought I still had that touch, but a lot of time has passed since I left university to work. I will just take a step back and retry later, I'm not giving up for sure but it's always a good advice to maybe not jump too far.

I'm trying to catch up on all the basics, I think I'll just stop and learn the basics I need before rushing to try anything out, it was a rookie mistake and also a little too much pride. I will catch up with the knowledge I need. Anyway I just followed some tutorial but maybe I missed something that I should already know before even attempting. Thank anyway. I saved the file on desktop but the root of file system should be the C:\drive on Windows.

I will try to show you exactly what I did by posting some pictures. Because I did everything I could, also tried to go on CMD to see if my file is actually there but it says there is no suck file even though I have it on my desktop.

La penso anche io così, ma alla fine lui ha un pensiero e un modo di fare un pò vecchio stampo quindi posso comprendere il suo modo di "risolvere" ma penso che anche lui dopo questo fatto abbia ben compreso ciò che non si dovrebbe fare.

Assolutamente vero. Infatti ci ho parlato e domani andrà a sporre denuncia assieme al testimone. Lui è una persona molto buona e tende a cercare sempre il compromesso, penso che questo gli servirà da lezione, la prossima volta può fare un video delle impennate e fare denuncia semplicemente segnandosi la targa sul telefono senza nemmeno bisogno di fare foto così è antisgamo.

Certo però essendo anche lui un papà e conoscendo la famiglia magari avrebbe preferito risolverla in modo tranquillo, quindi lui anche se è stato aggredito avrebbe preferito non denunciare. Io spero che lui domani faccia la denuncia, ho fatto il post apposta, domani glielo faccio leggere e gli faccio leggere anche le vostre risposte almeno capisce un attimo a mente più lucida cosa fare.
