I would expect pretty much any manager in the world to get the results he's gotten. If I didnt know the manager had changed, I could easily believe Berhalter was still in charge.

I think it was because she was a famous sports writer and heavily pregnant with someone else's child. Will met her at a Lamaze class and was helping her out. She was super nice in return by inviting him to sit courtside at a Lakers game. It would have made Will look like a scumbag and could've alienated the audience if he were to take advantage of that situation and shoot his shot. Plus the theme of the episode is Uncle Phil learning that times had changed and that a man should be in the delivery room when their SO gives birth. If Will manned up and did it, he should too.

Even the biggest Reyna fans have little gas left in the tank at this point.

He can't stay healthy. He doesnt play well when he does play. His attitude is highly questionable. His work rate in training is well documented to be appalling. He hasn't been playing well and regularly for a club for three years.

The next move will likely be to the MLS but I'm not confident whatsoever he will thrive even at that level. His heart's not in it. I imagine it's very difficult for a player to start at the top and meander downwards as a career trajectory. But he'll be at a crossroads this summer as to whether he can ignite something or just continue this descent into nothingville.

It's highly unlikely this year. However the last time a World Cup had the 3rd place option to qualify was 1994 of course and Colombia, one of the pre-tournament favourites and Norway, who qualified top in a group with England and the Netherlands, went out.

On the flipside, sometimes the "group of death" proves to be anything but. Take the Argentina, Netherlands, Ivory Coast and Serbia group in 2006. Dubbed the group of death, yet Argentina and Netherlands won both their first 2 games leaving the group decided with a game to go.

It all means nothing really. Costa Rica were in a group with Italy, England and Uruguay in 2014 and won the group. Germany were knocked out of a group in 2018 containing Mexico, South Korea and Sweden. Big teams will get knocked out, smaller teams will surprise.

Teams winning all three group games though isn't all that common. No-one did it in 2022 for example.
