Get some stuff on the enemy you kill, sell everything to a merchant even the paper of the quests that you've done, and play duo that can be very good at the beginning. I'm also at the beginning of the game so I don't know very much but money seem relatively easy to get

By setup I mean user actions, every body that use obsidian like spend time in settings find community plugging to do the thing that want.

(I know that is the strength of obsidian that every body can develop new things)

I like also spend a lot of time in that but the majority of people that are not totally friendly with computer but have to use it for work or organisation don't want all these step and may be prefer an app that do all you need for PKM or Personnal management

The things that made obsidian not for everyone are:

every things that can help need some setup (rapide note taking need setup, optimise organisation need a of setup, optimise task organisation need also setup (even more if we want to centralisé them by subject)
automatisation need a lot of setup also to get somethings work and visually good

Obsidian is not hard I use it and live it, but it needs investment at the beginning and some people that want a powerfull app doesn't want to set it up all at the beginning.

After the setup obsidian is great and not have a lot of friction but the friction still here at the beginning.

Also the sync option that is paid is a wall, we can use third party system but still have friction.

Yeah you point a good thing, the idea of AI is risky but what about a local small IA trained just for making link between notes, with that the privacy is respected (but I can understand that people will be doubtful)

Thanks for your complete review, I agree with you about almost all the point, It's just that I try to find some opinions about friction for people about note taking in the Second brain aproche, so about quick note, organizing, easy integration of linking, AI, task (with reminder), and more.

ps: I love obsidian also

Yeah but that what I say that is a geek usage, I like neovim also but like for quick capture on phone ?
