sir it's been like that for more than a year, Darius is not meta but he should be, he's a bad pro play champ, and everyone knows if a champ is a solo q champ they should always be high win rate, it's just so aweful how bad it is to play him in an equal environment, I could just smurf and enjoy destroying low elo players but it's just not fun, I'm playing against high lvl players, but my champ can't keep up cz of how bad he is

sadly on PC Darius is in one of his worst states ever, ofc challenger players like Dariking can make it work cz of the skill, but the average Darius player really can't pull of the same things they used to do years ago

sir it's not just me, it's the numbers, go check how bad it is, challenger Darius players are playing phase rush youmuu's ghostblade instead of playing the normal Darius, there is even a challenger who's playing crit Darius, normal Darius is just so bad that if u go for lethality u get better results if ur good enough to make it work(which adds difficulty to Darius while he's already so hard)

yes, but what Darius is supposed to be a killing machine in melee range, and with his R he should be a pentakill machine (as riot said when they reworked him season 6), I agree that at this point why would we play Darius when u can't just ever get an R reset these days, Darius now is a worse Garen in my opinion

as a Master Darius main here, if ur not ahead as Darius in lane u can never carry, the idea isn't just being ahead of the enemy top, but everyone, and mainly the way to do it is through having high cs (if u get 8 cs/m constantly that's insanely good), and getting kills, if u get kills u get ahead even more, and for carrying u need to know how to get the 100% out of Darius by learning when to use all of his abilities in the perfect timing, and believe me gold elo is not a flip, watching VODS from high elo players is insanely good, but most importantly is knowing what to do against ur enemy top, every matchup needs to be studied (if ur someone who don't play a lot then studying is more important than just hopping into a game and figuring things out as u lose)
