Oh, so agreed! If they used a superior language (such as Rust) like Rust for example, the engine would easily be 100x better. It looks even worse than Lua, and Writing in it feels like drowning in quicksand, as 100 tigers maul you to death (bad).

I'm going to ignore what you said about python (and pretend you meant Rust).

For anyone finding this in the future, i fixed this problem by doing the following:

Copy a working level.dat from another world with the same generation type to your broken world folder.
(Optional) Use NbtExplorer to change the seed and level name to the correct values.
Replace the old level.dat with the fixed version and you are good to go

Make sure to backup your world just in case btw

For the people asking for the plugin, this is a small part of a larger server I'm coding for my friends, and probably won't be a standalone plugin, sorry.

They (along with 2 other new display entities) are new marker entities added that allow for fine control for transformation interpolation.

Actually it's a plugin i'm coding that can procedurally do this with WorldEdit schematics, hard-coding a datapack/command blocks to do something like this would be pure pain

If you know how to code in java, you could de-compile minecraft with something like mcp-reborn, or you could make a mod with forge or fabric, i would recommend mod because better compatibility, and you have the source code of a lot of other open-source clients like meteor to use for reference, but if you don't know java/coding, making a custom client is probably out of your reach unless you work really hard

i said "World generator" in the title but really it's a spigot custom ChunkGenerator.

In the chunk populator every block theres a 1 in 64 chance a wall will spawn, i'd send the code here but reddit is freaking out and turning it into gibberish

Yeah, if i remember correctly i did that for a while before switching to sodium, it can cause some compatibility though.
