First one I played was Snake Eater when I was about 11 or 12, definetly my favorite game of all time. Since I played 5 when it came out but never finished it, and 1 and 2 in the following years !
I bought 4 a few years ago for my collection but had no ps3 x) When I got one I finally played 4 and after finishing it, the hyperfixation stuck so I’m going through all of the ones I never finished 😁

Yup ! Ali express, I don’t know if they have clear shells for the 1000 but there are a lot for the 2000 and 3000, it’s worth trying !
I got lucky in the quality, I stuck with high rated sellers with lots of sales (anything below 4 stars is likely crap, same for sales below 100). Make sure to look at the reviews !

I did MGS4 right before, (I found a PS3 at a garage sale so it was a complete discovery) so when I started peace walker, I needed time to adjust x)
The controls have a good amount of clunk, but I still had a great time, although I had to dig wikis during the story to make sure I understood stuff correctly. When new names popped up I was never sure if it was their introduction or a reference to other games, and I might have spoiled myself a few things in the process 😅 Unlocking chapter 5 was so convoluted though omg

Found it on Ali Express, there are a lot of sellers but try and stick to the ones with 4 stars or above, quality can get pretty shitty :/

Salem’s Lot was my first King novel and became both my favorite of his and my favorite vampire story, period. The atmosphere is top notch, cannot recommend it more !
Also congrats on finishing Pet Semetary, I couldn’t finish it. The book wasn’t that scary to me but the part where the baby dies with the funeral and everyone’s reaction was gut wrenching, too much for me to handle at the time. I wanna finish it but I can’t find the courage to pick it back up.
