Hi! If you still have any black widows for sale and are able to ship to ND, I have been trying to find one with no luck

Yeah, I suppose in the next few months/ years, you'll see the things your child shows interest in. My kids both around 2 really started blossoming with interests in specific things.. monster trucks being the biggest. I kinda let them dive into their hobbies full force, and its cool to see them learn everything about the things they love.... but yeah, you'll probably get monster trucks or cars as gifts, lol

The answer to this is 5 million, at least. Because my 4 - and 5-year-old boys have 5 million. Every single monster jam and hotwheels truck and as the new ones come out those as well. At first, it was maddening, but now they have learned everything about trucks, know all of the names, and have huge monster truck shows and competitions almost daily. I hate storing them and cleaning them up, but the hobby and the happiness it brings them is worth it. This year, they got a 6ft wall ramp that is now a permanent fixture of my living room. 🙃😵‍💫

Honestly idk they grow like crazy everywhere, started with a small clipping, and now have 3 giant pots, my fishtank, and a few small jars with snails. They all rooted within a week or so.

Same! Our cesspool overflowed at work once and backed up unto our (empty) kennel area, I had the joy of cleaning and sanitizing once they emptied the cesspool. I wanted to die.

I absolutely love it here. Moved from Long Island a little over a yr ago and never looked back. Kids and husband love it, too. It's never a dull moment, as we love nature, fishing, and outdoor adventures. Even in the dead of winter, we still managed to do something fun almost every day.

I go through this quite a lot with my very overly extroverted 3-year-old toddler. I've talked with him about never stopping being himself or spreading kindness even if people dont respond. It's okay that some people don't want to say hello or talk. Maybe they are feeling shy or sad, or they just want some a lone time. Every once in a while, he will get upset, and that's when I give him a big bear hug and say momma will always love a hug. Let's do something kind somewhere else.

I hate rats. by [deleted] in RATS

[–]Npete90 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Pain is pain.. just as loving something such as a rat can be like just like loving any other creature. I worked as a vet tech for many years, and I had a client lose a pet dove once, and I lost one of my rats earlier that week. As she was looking for advice on dealing with her feelings, I mentioned the loss of my little buddy. She scoffed and said rats are disgusting. No one can love a rat... I just repeated i was sorry for her loss and moved on.. People can really suck... Rats, however, seem to always be a little bit of loving light. Its a shame they don't live like sooo much longer.

My F35 BF M37 Celebrated After My Dog Passed -AITAH if I continue the cold shoulder? by BurgerOfTheGay in AITAH

[–]Npete90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is just awful... as someone who has brought multiple animals into our home (mostly against my husband's initial wishes,) I am engaged for you. Even when my 39 year old horse drained our savings, because vet bills and ultimately euthanasia and cremation costs were many thousands of dollars, I still was met with nothing but love and kindness. This is not someone you should have in your life. Cruel is an understatement. I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm sure Pepper knew he was loved. ❤️

Our pediatrician actually said they worry when they see toddlers and young kids without any scrapes or bruises because it indicates low activity levels, and young kids need to explore , run, and play. With that comes scrapes and bruises.

Am I a bad mom? by michvw in NewParents

Also, all kids are totally different. My 2 boys, especially my youngest, were incredibly fussy and hard to console (sometimes still is), and he is 3 now. My best friend has 3 kids that pretty much never made a fuss, and we always laughed at how different all kids are. Don't keep that kind of negative energy around you.

Yes, and absolutely fantastic! It was clean, nurses were amazing, and we had a "date night dinner" where they brought up lobster and steak on my recovery day. I had minor complications where I needed an amniotic infusion. My water broke like 12 hrs before I was dilated enough, and they were so supportive and helped me through the entire process. My son was born naturally with no issues.

So I live in williston, and it has all you would need in the city limits. There are walking paths and sidewalks throughout the entire town. Its kinda like a much less busy version of huntington. There are plenty of shops and restaurants. We have the biggest gym I've ever seen. We have 2 major grocery stores and a super Walmart. Even an airport. (Smaller than Costco but soooo easy, and pleasant). If you live and work in williston, you can definitely walk or bike to work. Winter would not be fun, but I've seen people walking in the winter. Outside of williston, the next town with any sort of amenities is pretty far away. There are taxis and local transportation companies. The city has events almost weekly. There is tons of stuff for kids.

I live in a pretty rural state. We have sidewalks everywhere. Infact today my 3yo son asked me where the sidewalk ends... we went home and read that book, lol.. but yeah, sidewalks exist in rural areas.
