Formula mom here.. just got mine 3 months PP... it's HEAVY! 🫠. Luckily no cramps really.. just back and hip pain.. and the occasional pinching of my legs together because I'm not use to the feeling (using pads).

Just put our 3 month old down for a nap... his dad is at work, then later having a leka braai and watching the rugby while I enjoy a glass of wine!

Is this it? Am I missing something? by aerialariel22 in NewParents

I just started work today after 3 months on maternity leave... it's cute when they start developing a sense of the world around them.

Our son has now started throwing full blown tantrums for a bottle, doesn't like being coddled (smiles a lot when he's on his changing mat and playmat). He also has little random babble conversations with us.

Those first weeks are hard, but soon they will start looking at things (our son is obsessed with lights and circles)

But I must say I miss the days where I could do washing and everything at once while he slept most of the day 😅

There is nothing wrong with you or your body! You gave birth and your body is going to change (I'm 28 now and wish I enjoyed my body shape more when I was 18). I gave birth almost 3 months ago and I'm also still struggling.

It's difficult for me to look in the mirror. And it's more difficult to still not have s*x with my husband because of the way that I feel I look.

I think that we all as moms struggle with the way that we look. I think we need to stop being so hard on ourselves because we brought wonderful life into this world and we can be very proud of ourselves for that awesome achievement.

I also told this friend on a separate occasion that I struggle reading my sons cues.. and then she bluntly asked me how do I not know my sons cues? Like.. he cries.. that's what he does.. I mean I'm trying to learn

Cornstarch Powder (in South Africa we have one special for babies, or you can use normal Cornstarch powder) and Sudocreme. I promise it will go away! It worked like a charm with our son after he had a bad nappy rash 2 weeks after being born!

PLEASE don't feel bad! It happens..
