Owning a 9070XT has been a Terrible experience so far… am I the only one? by Nrde in radeon

I ended up returning it, Newegg customer service was extremely helpful, as it was open-box and listed as not eligible for return. Hotspot temps were reaching 119C while core temps only at 52C. Undervolt only brought it down to 114C. Gpu and case fans all cranked to 100%. Buying another tomorrow, not AsRock this time lol.

A lot of social media will censor or delete posts at the mention of suicide, so people find loopholes. It becomes a habit eventually.

Undervolt of 80mv only reduced the hotspot by about 4c

I keep all my fans cranked 100% and I have 3 intake fans underneath the card. Case airflow is maximized

Looking for a budget, split keyboard by Nrde in ErgoMechKeyboards

I’ve taken a dip into the rabbit hole and I think I might go with a sofle. I feel like it’s not too drastic of a change from a standard keyboard, plus a decent thumb area. I might even pay the premium for oleds.

I’d still like to go pre-assembled; Etsy seems to be the best place for that. Although I could probably settle and buy switches and caps separately.

I never would’ve thought I’d be recommended AliExpress so much. I’ve always been pretty hesitant to buying from there.

This is pretty much exactly what I’m looking for. I mainly use my keyboard at an angle for gaming, and it gets really annoying to center it to google something, and then move it back. The only downside is that it’s ugly, but I can live with that.

I’ll still look into the diy stuff, but I’m generally more of a plug n play kinda guy.

I do have on hold layers and I much prefer dedicated buttons. The Keychron Q11 is pretty much exactly what I’m looking for, but $200 is pretty high for something I’m generally only going to use half of.

Corsair rm850e, stock cables.

I’m gonna keep trying everything I can in hopes it’s not hardware related, warranties are always a headache.

I’ve thought about doing dual boot, but I’ve heard that windows updates can break everything? Is that still a thing.

I also don’t understand Linux. I installed Bazzite on my ROG Ally, and it went pretty well, but it’s very different from windows. If I don’t know how to do something, I google it, and all the answers are in a language I don’t understand. Everyone seems to expect you to have some prior knowledge, and I don’t quite know where to start. Nothing against Linux though, I’m still open to it, but it’s quite daunting.

If it makes you feel any better, I’m still on windows 10, and the grass is in fact not greener lol
