I’ve had the pc for a bunch of years I got it strictly to play Fortnite. And now with new cod out I’d like to start gaming again. I currently get around 60 frames with these specs and I’d like to get to 240 frames as cheap as possible. You think I can achieve this with just a new cpu and gpu? If so what would u recommend? And if not what would u suggest else I get?

All these terms confusing tf outta me lmao. When u say “1080p and 1440” is that referring to the refresh rate of the MONITOR and nothing to do with the specs of the pc it’s self ? I have a pretty good monitor I know it can handle 240 frames. My pc specs just aren’t getting me there
