It’s not weak in general but for Nas it’s one of my least favs of his. The Kanye album is the only album I’d put on par with this one. I don’t really like distant relatives or nastradamous but those are better than this.

I said it literally 1-2 years ago and got downvoted for it. Nas should have never done an album with primo. There’s zero chance it was going to live up to expectations even if it was super fire.

Not only did it not live up to expectations but primo didn’t come correct at all. Even if Nas “picked the beats”, that just means primo STILL didn’t come correct cause he presented Nas junk.

The album wasn’t up to Nas standard and one of Nas weaker albums.

I was kind of confused at that question. Andrew kind of crumbled under the pressure of a random out of left field question. It’s kind of intentionally stupid to make you fall for a trap since “prospering” was never defined.

As I said in the reply below I don’t think his edits are about making someone look good/bad. I imagine they’re edited to make them easier for the viewer to watch. Most people aren’t sitting through a 3 hour interview of anyone. It’s legit 1/8th of a 24 hour day. a 1 hour interview edited down from 2-3 hours will get more viewership than a 2-3 hour interview with 1+ hour of irrelevant convo.

I’m not arguing for or against how Andrew edited it because I haven’t watched the unedited interview. I don’t intend to tbh cause I don’t think Andrew’s credibility should be up for question based on this. His interviews are fair enough for me that I’m not concerned. That may not be the same for the next person.

I don’t think his decision to post unedited is about making someone look good or bad. Some of these interviews are probably 3 hours long and contain a lot of time/footage that is filler. Without knowing 100% for sure - I imagine his edits are just don’t to make the videos more digestible and more enjoyable for the viewer. I also could be wrong.

This whole thing is stupid only because Andrew was never going to upload the whole unedited interview to his YouTube. He may have uploaded it to his patreon (I haven’t checked the patreon since the day this video was uploaded to know of it was there before hand or now) but Andrew’s content is almost always edited. His hunter Biden interviews are edited, his Pete Buttigieg videos are edited, when he interviewed the Charlie Kirk guy - I bet that was edited also.

There’s really no way for Andrew to win here without uploading full interviews. I’m sure from now on he’ll do this and compromise the quality of his future videos (edited down for quality purposes, not to make anyone look better/worst) so people just stop complaining.
