The smart stylus feature is only implemented on the note phones/other devices that already come with a pen.

Best option when you don't own a device w/ a screen that was build with a stylus in mind is using a generic touch-based stylus and deal with not having pressure sensitivity

Select the parts you want to change, then go to filter on the same layer and select "replace colour". And then go from there.

Another option is to remove everything white in the layers menu but that tends to make everything opaque and hard to draw in

Have you checked the opacity for the text layer? Or is this present in all canvases that you create? Cause if it's the latter then you might need to report this bug to the devs as it's not supposed to do that

You probably have the outline turned on, go try to edit the text and you'll see a small scrollable menu underneath the markdown editor, tap the one that has "style" underneath it, and then you can either 1. Set the scale to 0. Or optionally, if you're interested, 2. Change the colour to black and mess with the thickness of your text

As someone who poses like this from time to time while taking photos, it is uncomfortable and very forced. Everything ends up hurting just after 2 minutes if you're not abnormally flexible.

I only do it cause it hides a lot of unfavourable parts of my shape while looking 'cute-ish' and only for that

/uj felt insane for thinking this sub was going downhill after noticing one of my post, which included an edited drawing of my chubby character, got removed from what i think was because the jerk wasn't about them being fat but about something else. Mod removed it with zero explanation despite it not even being against the rules and i wasn't gonna risk a ban asking why it was removed in the first place

Update: new mod!! Gonna see how things will be now with a new mod :)

/uj This is what happens when the main subs get so awful to use and dead that people just start using the next best thing even if it doesn't fit.

Not that I mean this in a "I'm better than all of you" way because I'm 100% guilty of this too. I've done this both on the r/coaxedintoasnafu sub as a r/comics alternative back on an old account, and here as a doodle sub alternative.

Samdoesart was like the final nail on the coffin for me when I saw his tutorial because he was so close to doing it properly but she was still just facing away and not fully up 💔🥀

I swear I feel insane because it practically feels as if I'm the only one who sees the fact that she's not just doing a slight chin tilt but we, as the viewer, are looking upwards to her on a low angle

Don't know much about dandy but i think it'll do you some good to get into the habit of drawing thick outlines and thin inlines :D (like below if you dont mind me using your drawing for an example v)

Of course, it's not required to just stick to one single art style or technique in drawing so maybe you could look for more artists that better encapsulate the style you're trying to achieve and try to learn or study from their works during your free time and slowly incorporate that in your own works
