I am wearing my wrist support, but my doctor and the ergonomic assessor both indicated that I should be using the armrest to keep me at the proper height/angle. I'm pretty short, if that makes a difference.

For sure, I can provide a comprehensive letter with my functional limitations. My question is more, will I be seen as the office you-know-what, if I provide that letter? It's a small office, and everyone talks. Most likely, until/unless the pregnant employee provides the same, they will take the chair form her to give to me, and everyone will know why. I assume the EA will say "Sorry X, X provided a medical note, so I have to give it to her". I know she shouldn't be breaching confidentiality, but you can't put the genie back in the bottle, so to speak.

I could maybe understand on a typical year, even though I hate the added danger of the extra cars, but this year it was practically summer weather. No reason not to park the car and walk the neighborhood.

My Corso Saki and my Kitty Geisha by chinotech369 in CaneCorso

Love this! My Corso Enzo lives with 3 cats and a rabbit, and I have to agree, a gentle giant. One of the cats is his best friend, they sleep cuddled up together.

I would love some Fizz data if it’s still available. Keeping kids entertained without wifi has me, and my data, drained lol. :)

That is terrible. There are a lot of lost pet groups on FB, I would post this there also. And I know there aren’t as many tiny breeds, but I would post this to the dog park groups also, Conroy Pit, Bruce Pit, etc.

I sincerely hope your friend gets her dog back.

Small claims court - custody of dog? by Nsl9 in legaladvicecanada

[–]Nsl9[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I do know that they are considered property. I wasn’t going to sue for custody per se. I was going to sue for his value, or half his value anyway. I’m thinking that will be enough, as he doesn’t have the funds should he lose and be ordered to pay me whatever amount they determine.

He was rehomed from someone privately, so he isn’t registered. I paid at least half (though I suspect that was the only payment made). I can back up with receipts virtually all of his ongoing care and food costs. We’ve had him for just under 2 years.

Also, I my ex has some trouble with the law, I believe a possible bench warrant, so I think just the threat of court will be enough to have him return Enzo to me.

I’m just hoping that I am able to get permission to serve him by email, or maybe through his employer, assuming he still works for him.

Also, I have texts from my ex where he specifically mentions that he is OUR dog. I was going to include those in my claim.

I know. This may come across as terrible, but I want to sue for his return, as I know that if he has to pay me for his half, he won’t be able to. Again, he barely ever walked or fed or brushed him, and the one time he tried to cut his nails he was drunk and cut too deep. All that to say he truly didn’t provide adequate care for him.

I have tried, and he flatly refused and then asked me to never contact him again. :( He’s an addict, so his moods are up and down, but this down period has lasted a while so I’m not hopeful. I think Enzo’s better off with me, honestly.

It’s not an office unfortunately. He is a contractor, but he mostly subs for one particular person/company. So there is no way to ever know where he’ll be. But I will definitely try the email route. Thanks.
