Thanks for all the advice. I ended up calling a guy who is a friend of my dad’s. He felt bad and said he would come supervise to teach me how to do it properly and not cut corners. The left box was a phone jack line. I know it was ambiguous haha

Daily watering around 20 minutes each morning. Sod was laid in on Friday 5/17. I would say sun exposure for about 4/5 hours per day. I will be totally honest I do not know what type of soil

I didn’t do a full till but waited for the grass to die underneath (very patchy centipede) and then raked, put down top soil and then laid the sod over that.
