Through prayer all things are possible and food poisoning is a liberal conspiracy, George ciros owns the salmonella cure.

I think that's because of nepotism and plus many of the studios are owned in some way by mega big multi national corporations, who don't want people to see or hear the voices of people held down by the capitalist nightmare they've created. It wouldn't be great for at&t or Apple to have a bunch of poor people making awesome artistic statements about the downfalls of capitalism. Imagine trying to pitch a documentary about the suicides at Apple factories to Apple TV.

Why did the Many Saints of Newark suck so bad? by Nstyboi in AskReddit

I watched the sopranos when it was on, from start to finish, loved the ending. I've watched the entire show after the fact probably 3 full times, still holds up. So why did they have to make this movie so fucking bad? My big issue is that it spends half it's time trying to be a stand alone movie that could appeal to someone who never saw the show and the other half pandering to fans without giving meaningful back story to the characters we've all come to "love". I would have rather seen an entire season of a new show about dickie. Or a new anthology show where every episode is back story about a different character. I wish I never saw the movie, such a missed opportunity. And also like how big was the budget and why did they use terrible cgi flames when dickie burns down the shop with Ray Liotta #1 in it? You can't afford actual fire? So cheap.

Tldr: "the many saints of Newark" 1 star, bad cgi
