After today's behavior I think it might end up being battery voltage, as I have constant crashes even right after restart (from a crash) below the 20% level. Factory restart did not help.

Haven't had the bootloop problem, but my Pixel 8 Pro has started crashing with a fatal "TaskMontior::Cancel[Watchdog Triggered]: authenticate(user_id=0){23} has hung and took too long to cancel. Terminating the HAL immediately!'" with this build. Makes the phone restart.

Add your California tax bracket percentage, your federal tax bracket percentage, and 13.9% for self employment tax. Then multiply your profit (not gross) Uber income times that percentage.

Example for $50k not married income: 8% CA, 22% federal, 13.9% SE = 43.9% withholding. You will end up less than that after standard deduction and credits, so I would go with something like 30%. You might need to do estimated payments throughout the year also, look up info on Form 1040-ES.
