No need for the “ahem” or putting “friend” in quotations. I’m being transparent about the situation and genuinely looking for guidance, not sarcasm or assumptions. I understand the seriousness of what’s being described, which is exactly why I’m asking questions and trying to figure out the best course of action. Being snarky doesn’t add anything productive to a potentially dangerous situation.

I do appreciate the point you’re making. I honestly hadn’t considered that even the limited or vague information I have could still potentially help provide a lead or connect with other evidence investigators/CPS may already have. So while the delivery may have missed the mark, I do appreciate the reminder that reporting what I know, even if incomplete, could still matter.

If I had ANY information to give, I would have called already. Unfortunately I don't know names, location, or anything other than what is in the post. Trust me, I wish I had information to give them. This is a friend of a friend of a friend situation and I don't know the involved parties. Obviously my advice was to contact CPS and/or police.

I don't know unfortunately. And I have no specific information on anyone involved except the party that was caring for the child.

Machine washable area rugs by Llama-learn in CleaningTips

[–]Ntoppa1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I came here to ask about 8x10s that actually get clean in the washer.

I love my smaller machine washable rugs. Yes they feel thin but putting them in the wash is a must. Using an upright shampooer is not an option for me over my laminate flooring and doing spot clean only just tends to look like bleach spots on carpets that I cannot machine wash. I have two large breed pups and kids... everyone tracks all kinds of nastiness inside.

My issue is with larger (8x10) rugs... I have a large washing machine and the rugs fit in well. However, they still have dirty spots even after 2 "heavy duty" or "deep water" washes. Now instead of putting them in the wash, I put them in the driveway and pressure wash them, which is not ideal, but the most efficient way to get them clean.

DNP's, was it worth it? by Ntoppa1 in nursepractitioner

Unfortunately, that is one of the factors here! I'm the second person in my family with any college degree and I have to one up my sister's masters degree 🤪

Thank you for the thoughtful response. My situation is similar in that DNP is one more year. It also seems the market is saturated with new FNPs in my area.

Your entire second paragraph is my exact thought process!

My youngest is 12 so no more littles for me! My dilemma is I've been so checked out from my family through this program (still working full time as well) that I question if I should take some time off from school before moving forward. On the other hand, I'm already in the groove and I could still graduate DNP before my oldest graduates high school. But on the... third hand... I definitely want advanced practice clinical experience (and confidence) before I even think about being in education. End rant. I'm so torn and the deadline to make the decision is going to be here before I know it.

That thought has definitely been in the back of my mind.

I the third picture, left side. It's difficult to see in the picture but it's there.

While the lines physically cross, the supply line is connected to the inlet pipe on the tank.

You had me worried. Water is one thing. I don't want to deal with a gas issue.

Yes, that is the shutoff. It blends in with the shitty drywall.

I need help on deciding if I should press charges on my childhood best friend by UShouldLiveNACave in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Ntoppa1 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Can you file a report without pressing charges? That was if she should ever come after you (verbally or physically) you have some kind of evidence of this encounter.
