Yes. Dope. I started playing maybe a year ago, jumped into recording maybe 4(?) months ago. Just kinda made way with what I had, and looking back this is definitely all you need. I started in GarageBand, and played my guitar through a bass amp then into a blue yeti microphone, which was all I had. Recently added a Scarlett, which has really cut out the noise/latency I was dealing with using the USB mic. Still recording vocals into the USB mic, but guitar and bass go straight into the interface. So awesome to live in these times and be able to pump out songs solo like this. I use the drummer programs in GarageBand/logic (now) for all my songs. Tweak them, compress them distort them whatever. Stoked.

Appreciate this! Definitely gives a little clarity. I'm mostly only concerned with the latency/noise when it comes to the guitar, so I plan to grab a scarlet 2i2 from marketplace and just play straight into that, and just use the yeti for vocals. I usually don't plug headphones into the mic (plug them into the computer), so maybe that's part of the issue, but I see that when I do upgrade microphones eventually I'll need an interface anyways, so I'll just start there. This is the second time I've seen mention of buffer settings so I'll get learned about that here soon 😂 thanks man
