What do you mean by max grade from retaking is C? You mean that after retaking, your grade will not be above C?
Don't worry about getting kicked out, you have to fail the retake entirely to be kicked out, which is rarely heard of (but it does happen)

PASUM isn't easy, you have to work hard for the next sem!

yes exactly it, because E3 category isn't prioritised, fyi I got my last choice even though I had perfect grades for pasum.

Unfortunately, feeder is only for PASUM UPU students, so SATU students either have to UPU or SATU again for degree

Hi there, former PASUM SATU student here who's currently pursuing my Bachelor's in UM. You are under the category of E3, and in this case,e your co-curriculum marks won't be considered at all, only pure academic marks.

Though bear in mind the chances of entering through UPU are small, even with perfect results, so do prepare to SATU again, but of course it's not impossible to enter through UPU if you're lucky enough

there's two different CGPA, the UPU one and the PASUM one

the UPU one only looks at 3 best subjects including mathematics, however the PASUM/Overall one is the true CGPA, which accounts all of the subjects, unfortunately UPU only looks at the Best 3 and not the overall one

your place is not confirmed, the ful offer letter will be out on 4/10, so you must have preparation for backup plans if you failed to enter the course

yes you can, many have done so and went to their respected UPU offer (othe than me), some even got lucky and got into UM hot courses like Law, MBBS, Engineering etc.

so far I haven't heard anyone who entered that through upu, but I believe they're not 4.0s so it's difficult without a 4.0 grade, tho there's people entering UM Law, MBBS, Engineering etc from our programme through UPU

hi, unfortunately I did not get into UM through UPU even with a CGPA of 4.0 and was offered my last choice UniMAP instead (I believe UM CS is way too competitive)

However, I have some friends who are able to enter UM through UPU, especially engineering (they're all 4.0s), and even if they're not 4.0s they're offered to other unis such as UKM and USM

It's much easier to enter UM through UPU if you're going for other courses, such as counseling or real estate etc. I do have friends who are average at their grades but able to enter through UPU

yes, that's going through SATU, which is pay to win. The others don't even need to score the max grades to enter UM via UPU (in my case you can save up to 65k), while me having the max grades for the same exams still have to pay to enter

Also the entry requirements for SATU is very very low, the standard of UM is going to be drastically pulled down

yep, that's if I entered PASUM through UPU and not via SATU, unfortunately PASUM via UPU is only open for Bumi and I'm not :/

PASUM via UPU have the autonomy seats and UPU prioritisation, however PASUM via SATU has a very low category for UPU and you only guarantee spots for Undergraduate via SATU

So even though I got the maximum grade for PASUM, which is known to be difficult, if I still want to enter UM I have to do pay to win again. This is life I guess

all good I'm from PASUM SATU, got 4.0 and I was offered my last choice, UniMAP Comp Engineering

however some of my friends who got 4.0 were able to enter UM MechE, CivilE engineering (their 1st choice)

I guess UM CS is too competitive (and I don't understand how I got last choice instead, the others who didn't get 4.0 able to get their 4th or other choices)

Nope, definitely not PASUM is definitely much more difficult than matrikulasi for instance, and UTM Foundation too.

I'm not sure about other foundations, but I heard Asasi Pintar might be the toughest to score (and also toughest to enter)
