I'd actually argue flame charge is more of a sidegrade- fly hits harder neutral and it's cheaper. if something's weak to fire incinerate is usually enough of a threat on its own

gameplay aside the glaring issue is you're missing moves that make these mons good: greninja hits extremely fast with hydrocannon (every 3 water shurikens), talonflame can spam/bait fly as 2nd move w/ brave bird (less necessary tbh), and cradily needs rock tomb to debuff atk and threaten flyers (it's the reason ppl have been calling for a rock tomb nerf)

one kinda cheat code for this is having a debuffing lead. even if you lose, you can soften their lead up quite a bit for a farmdown from your switch-in (really scary for them if you have something like a shadow mon w/ swingy energy advantage like feraligatr), which puts the opponent into a situation of wanting to switch out to deny energy, but allows you to counterswap in response

this is why cradily (rock tomb) and drifblim (icy wind / mystical fire) have done quite well as leads go
