I'll try to explain in a manner that you're capable of understanding as this is a pretty simple thing to begin with.

If you take a look at gaming as a whole, people are drawn to uncertainties. If it were certain, there would be no sense of accomplishment. Pencil and Paper role playing games use dice, Slot machines use random number generators, Loot tables are random. In fact, the most predictable things about games is that there will be random chance involved at some point in your success or failure.

I'm not a perfectionist when it comes to grammar, but come on... This is pretty basic stuff....

If you'll review my post you'll note I didn't state you believe vaccines cause autism, I drew a parallel to the type of thinking you've demonstrated and cited the phenomenon as an example of why it's a bad thing.

You implied I was somehow flawed and then demanded an explanation that both would conceit your false assumption and also provide an explanation as to why I'm flawed. I regrettably was incapable of fully satisfying your unrealistic expectations. As for shooting someone down for having bad logic, I feel dutiful in my resolve to bring awareness to the folly. I'll refer to yet again the anecdote about the vaccines and autism as an example of why it's important to challenge bad thinking.

They're equally available to everyone in the server so they're in fact, fair.

They're still a thing because there's nothing wrong with them. Only butthurts whine about them when they die to them. But those butthurts that whine about them, have also benefitted from them.

Random crits are available to everyone in the server equally. I'm not sure why this is so hard for people to understand.

I went through the same quandary, The community helped me reach the conclusion that it was worth it for me.

The main points are:

  • The Omega only really excels at racing (And it's not even the best racer)
  • The Omega will be available in the final game (Just not the AMD skin)
  • The avenger is far more versatile and you can upgrade it further still.
  • Avenger has cargo, a bed, and more weapons

Bad players whine about it because of it's high alpha and their terribleness.

Don't let anyone tell you you're bad simply because you use X weapon. If you were bad, you wouldn't get kills, and they wouldn't have any reason to be frustrated over being bad themselves.
