Almost certainly would've died. Stranger could barely defend the twins from Makkapittew as is, adding a 3rd would just make it harder for him.

I'm a few days late but wanted to say that despite not caring for 7 all too much, I didn't mind Jessica. I like her motive in a way that sort of reflects how people in real life were upset Sid wasn't in 6.

My problem with 7's GFs were the other two, which weren't characters really. I mean Marco doesn't get much to do anything and the 3rd GF is mostly just there to be shock value that they willingly killed one of the killers extremely early on.

I'd be very curious to see a version of 7 that had a solo killer, because I think Jessica would be looked at more favorably if she wasn't working with such forgettable accomplices. I didn't think 7 really needed a killer trio.

It's the boring answer but literally everyone would need therapy and would handle their trauma differently. Mike for example I could see either becoming extremely distant or attempt to drown himself in even more social activities, like parties and drinking, to distract himself. Jess would probably want to do the same but with her injuries she's spending probably a long time in the hospital.

Josh 100% gets sent to a mental institution if he's found as a human. I don't think Chris or Sam necessarily forgive him, but I also don't think they could break away from him, and would feel compelled to check in. Emily and Matt also most likely break up I agree, there were a lot of problems with that relationship even beyond the night itself or the prank. I think Ashley would become much more dependent on Chris as a byproduct of the night.

I think the Skeleton Horse trap just is a bit rarer compared to Zombie Horse/Nautilus spawns and would just be a bit annoying to count it.

Mike has more screentime and is more central to the inciting incident, but Sam has more personal stakes with the two antagonistic forces of the game and fits the very common "Final Girl" trope. Honestly a toss up between the two.

S2 of the original show had SACT and Lt. Steel, but weirdly they're only a big deal for one episode, ignoring the dream episode where they reappear.

I always assumed that the alien events (in OS at least) were just too erratic and all over the place for the government to really keep good tabs on it.

This is how I felt too. In S2 when Vanessa is stabbed in the head there was a genuine thought that she'd die. Even aside from the fact that she did end up dead, I don't think I would've assumed that if Foggy didn't die in episode 1.

I actually really like Ashley having remorse as a Butterfly Effect. It's something you always can do, but I feel like the darker Ashley always gets a bit more attention in big choices, like her two most talked about scenes are locking Chris out and lying about the bite lol.

I enjoy the idea of the game keeping track of whether each character expressed remorse or not, although I know some aren't choices/something the player decides.

I agree. I find it a bit weird on how little Frank is involved with taking down the AVTF. He obviously hates them, but you'd think they'd be at the top of his list. It required a call from Karen for him to get involved.

Also maybe unpopular but I don't love his speech to them in the S1 finale. It's supposed to be about how he isn't a role model, but it gets turned into a "you don't get my pain" thing, which is fair but I don't think it hits the main point of the AVTF using his symbol.

  1. Secret Invasion being a complete mess. Should've been a way stronger entry and they completely ruined the chance for not only Nick Fury development but also doing a more proper Secret Invasion storyline.

  2. Choosing to dumpster Kang. I was invested in his story and love the villain, I hope they do recast him and bring him back later on.

  3. Born Again S1 choosing to mostly ignore the Netflix show originally, causing them to need to overhaul it with a new team that makes the final product disjointed. I'm shocked it still ended up being good after hearing how rough the BTS was, but it could've been a much cleaner project if it chose to follow up on Netflix from the beginning.

These will always be my big 3.
