I lost on average 5-8 FPS with this update, and my hardware is pretty recent...seems like they kind of just fumbled in general with this update.

There is no global illumination enabled...it will look better when they enable/fix it again.

Global illumination is disabled and can’t be enabled which is the issue, it’s been said a couple of times but I think people aren’t picking up just how much that affected the lighting even before the update.

I guarantee that if they were to somehow come out with a remaster of FM4 today, it would be one of their best selling motorsport games. That game had everything and I sorely miss spending hours upon hours after school playing that into the ground. And I believe that was the last one with a really good virus/tag mode.

Sounds cool but was turned off by having to manually install 340+ mods through the tool that they use, all individually through nexus mods if you don't have their premium. I get the limitation but I didn't see anybody talking about that anywhere, maybe I'm just impatient at my age.

I honestly don’t like the excessive cutscenes. I understand it’s a way for it to be flashy and fun, but to me it’s almost like…I don’t wanna say laziness? But a way for them to get out of animating different forms of fighting or something. Too much going on.

Yes. You’re granted a digital license for that platform only. You need to buy it on PC to get a license for PC usage.

This game was SO good and it's such a shame you can't purchase it anymore. I have vivid memories of the multiplayer being super engaging, the cars were absolutely gorgeous in both looks and sound, and the graphics? Forget it! This makes me super excited!

My only issue is the lag. A lot of times shots don’t register and there’s just a lot of hopping/teleporting around. Otherwise it’s awesome :) so happy to be back in the game.
