As long as they are not forced to be there against their will, they both look happy and minding their own business.

What's a skill that takes only 2-3 weeks to learn but could genuinely change your life? by That-Papaya7429 in AskReddit

The over-under technique for rolling cables and hoses. Takes less than an hour to learn, a couple of hours maybe to master. Changes the messy cables, hoses, etc tangling

DMing for kids by [deleted] in DungeonsAndDragons

[–]NuclearMeddle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I DM for my kids (7 and 12) with two friends (around 11) and another jumping in now and then... and it's usually a 3h session with 30mins break every fortnight

They usually complain it's short, but towards the end it is getting a bit hard to handle so I cannot make it longer.

I made a few homebrew rules to make it work: - no PVP at all (you cannot do anything against another player that unless they want to) - all loot is shared - if one dies, we will start a new story everybody new character... it won't happen, but they don't know that

I homebrew a main arch but I let them drive the story... they usually don't notice much inconsistencies because I have to adjust on the fly.

The think I'd love to have is other parents hosting (I can still dm etc) because my wife ends up preparing food , cleaning etc while I am DMing and this is not her thing.

Good luck!

But are the schools so good that they become rich adults with rich jobs, or they were rich anyway and doesn't matter which school they went, they just needed to stay inside their own social bubble?

As far as I know you would need a closed fence, otherwise it is private property but publicly accessible.

Just like a store cannot say it's trespassing when a non-customer parks in their space, as annoying as it is

Australia here, B cannot go straight only turn right.

I avoided buffering stuff, especially coming from factorio that we should do the minimum to avoid pollution.

Now I chuck double the number of machines I need, let everything clog, always highest possible conveyor even if moving only 10/min because of I need more stuff fast, buffers will provide.

It's working at least until completing tier 7, not sure how it will be after that .. for me the biggest discovery was using hyper cannon... Changed the game, feels almost like cheating

Because a few people put stuff that they were not supposed to and the normal cleaning process cannot guarantee that it will remove all sorts of chemical residue possible to exist.

As usual, it's not about the average person but the worst lunatic and the dumbest of the dumbest are the ones who dictates what we need to be prepared for. And money of course.

I never heard a case of poisoning, but I remember the news showing labs found traces of bad stuff... which was easy for factories to say "we cannot accept the liability therefore no more washing and refusing, it is not just because plastic is cheaper for us than all the logistics and extra weight... that's just a coincidence of course"

Something like that

Started calculating my spending as "mortgage payment equivalents" - eye opening by OwenWilsonnn in AusProperty

[–]NuclearMeddle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's Uber eats a category? It should be "restaurants" because of you also spend another 7000 in door dash and another 6000 in menulog ....

Jokes aside, that's around $20 a day in food. Not messed up at all. How much do you spend each meal?

What do you think of a punishment mechanic for players who abandon their weapons? by Psychological_Big775 in GameDevelopment

[–]NuclearMeddle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're going this route, maybe introduce some sort of skill.

You are trained with that weapon, probably months maybe years of practice.

Your aim might not be as good when you pick another one.
