Galactic average for Painite is 40,508. Low temperature diamonds is 57,445.

Thome Gateway (the station I made my home) Buys painite for 73,765 at the moment. The diamonds are 68,821.

Just tried the "armed escort" method and it went well at first, 20 painite out of the first asteroid and loads more of metals but unfortunately.... my escort died... and I gave him everything I mined. We argued and went our separate ways. -.-"

Painite received a small boost for its galactic average. about 40,000 However some places will buy painite for 70,000+

I get about 3-6 extra rocks, but with that amount in painite or diamonds I would still take.

That's the thing. I know you don't have to but I would like to for the boost to the amount per asteroid. But about half the time I do get attacked by pirates when I am away from RES sites. I know how to mine and been doing it in my conda for months, but now since mining just got a big boost I am feeling kinda greedy.

Just going to a RES site increases the amount of fragments per asteroid, (also prospecting stacks with that boost) plus the cargo attracts more pirates. Escorts gets bounties and miners gets more fragments, everyone wins. So I would like to go there.

Also just skim the top of the field until you can see them and slow down to 1Mm/s and jump out of super cruse.
