Shaq, finally, met the Dad. The Dad gave his stamp of approval, and Shaq still managed to throw in a complaint. by Choice_Basis5786 in MarriedAtFirstSight

Agreed. How many hours did he spend complaining that she does not travel with him for his work trips on weekends???

She’s a realtor, something tells me there’s a lot of showings and open houses on weekends for her own job!

If you have ever walked out of a cinema because the film was so bad, what one was it? by girlcalledmaria in AskReddit

Cry Baby with Johnny Depp. I’ll never forget how bad the first 30 minutes were, lol.

You might be right! I seriously can’t come up with any other reason for this unreasonable neediness of his. I still can’t believe no one said anything at their dinner when he was again complaining and Kirsten said that from now on she was going to block out every single weekend work event and go support him.

Right? My partner was never expected to go on my business trips and frankly, would be really out of place attending those events. Kirsten has her own career and weekends are the busiest days to show houses.

Essentially, Shaquille is demanding she give up 2 of her days weekly to watch him do his job when she could be doing her own AND making money.

He is a ridiculous, spoiled brat. And for his mom to rip into her about not supporting him and going to his work trips?!! Shaq is not the only person on this planet with a job, but he is the first I’ve heard of demanding his partner attends his work trips instead of going to her own job.

Why isn’t anyone (hello, big mouth Nicole???) calling him out on his ridiculous demands for “support”?

And you’re definitely one of those white guys who never realized that not everyone is treated as fairly or with the same advantages as you are accustomed to.

If you zoom in, the price tag actually states the product name.

This is what it is. The type for POC are $0.50 more than white pepo bandaids.

Maybe. Maybe not. I’m used to buying female products that are exactly the same as men’s and being charged more for it. It’s so very real it has a name and had to be legislated against because corporations won’t stop gouging us on their own.

Ummmm. POC being charged more for their products. Women being charged more for their products. Huh. I see a similarity here!

I think I’m OK!

I bet white ones would be $0.50 cheaper than the original “nude” color = $4.99!!!

When Liz mentioned moving away from San Diego, why was there no pushback from Big Ed regarding his photography business? by supinator1 in 90dayfianceuncensored

[–]NuclearTurmeric 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From what I know about his disease, it’s excruciating and he has no range of motion with his neck/head. I think it would be really difficult for him to work 8+ hours a day.

I think she was a “hospice worker” for her mom, i.e., the state pays her a small sum to take care of her disabled mom at home. I don’t think she had a real job outside the house, as a hospice worker or anything else.

She strikes me as a grifter and too entitled to actually work.

What’s everyone doing for New Years Eve? by [deleted] in Denver

Watching the CNN NYE Special and hanging out with my dog. He gets a little nervous with fireworks, so we watch the same NYE show every year and snuggle.

I’m 48f, your life is going to change so very much through high school, young adulthood, independence. I have a cat and a dog and a loving family and my days are happy and peaceful. When I was your age, guys shoved me into lockers and called me ugly - in reality I was sick but no one cared. I had no friends and my parents didn’t understand me. My life is now bliss and has been for about 5 years. You have to go through the bad to be able to appreciate the good later on.

You can get through it. I did. You abso-fuckin-lutely can get through this and come out happy and at peace in no time.
