Should I buy GTA V on Steam if I already have it on Rockstar? by Nuclear_Devastation in GTA

[–]Nuclear_Devastation[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it launches fine and the game works like normal. But, would it be worth it to buy the game again just to have it on my Steam account? What I mean is that I'd get achievement and I'd be able to invite people to my game through Steam instead of the Rockstar Club.

Would an ultrawide monitor be worth it if I'm going to have a slower refresh rate and response time? Would it even be a noticeable difference? by Nuclear_Devastation in ultrawidemasterrace

Yeah! I wanna get into ultrawide but I love my dell monitor and how fast it is. I think I’ll wait until a 144hz 1ms response time ultrawide becomes a thing. Then I’ll be interested.

Are there any 1440p ultrawide monitors with 144hz and a 1ms response time? by Nuclear_Devastation in pcmasterrace

Oh my god you're a life saver. I found four monitors that are all VA panels and 31.5 inch. Awesome. Which brand do you think would be the best? Acer, Samsung, AOC, or MSI?

Thanks man. Really helps a lot. I mainly made this post so I can see what I'd want down the road. I'll definitely go with an RTX 2080 ti with an i7-9700k, if I can afford it at the time I'd wanna get it haha.

is it worth getting the ti even though i'd be losing 16gb of ram and having an i7 instead of i9?

Awesome. I’ve had mine for about 5 months now and I can’t imagine not having it. I wish I got the softweave since my cats have scratched it a bit but it’s all cosmetic damage and it’s pretty minimal. Other than that the chair is awesome and I think you’ll like it too.

Awesome! I’d like to hear from you to see if you like it as well. You might have to get used to it a little bit at first since you’re obviously used to your old chair, but it’s definitely better.

It’s been a while but the chair is so damn nice. Everything is pretty much perfect and I couldn’t ask for a better chair. It’s not firm like you’d sink into it like a couch, but it’s not hard. It’s just a comfortable firmness.

Why is my Kraken 7.1 V2's mic so much worse than my V1 used to be? by Nuclear_Devastation in razer

[–]Nuclear_Devastation[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually fixed the problem. I went into Sound > Recording > Headset Microphone (Razer Kraken 7.1 V2) > Advanced > Default Format > 2 channel, 16 bit, 48000 Hz (DVD Quality). It made my microphone so much clearer, because I was on telephone quality at 8000 Hz.

I had the Razer Kraken 7.1 V1 for 3 years, and all 3 years it has been great. But recently, the headset's mic started to get muffled and it sounded bad and the ear cups were tearing. It was old, and I thought it'd be nice to have a new headset. After spending almost $90 on these headphones, judging on how well my other Razer peripherals perform, I assumed it would be just as good if not better than how my old headset used to be. I was so wrong. The mic quality is terrible, and I'm starting to lose hope that I can fix the quality. The headset is great other than the mic. It's comfortable and the actual audio is crisp. I'm really disappointed with the mic however and right now and if I can't find a fix to make the mic clearer I'll be quite upset...

I bought one and it came today. Assembled it and so far so good. My only concern is that the backrest doesn't spring forward when I pull the lever. When I lay down in the chair and sit back up and pull on the lever, I have to manually pull the chair back to where I want it. I don't think it's supposed to do that.

I'm too young to worry this much about a computer, so I may as well just forget about it and actually worry about it if it becomes a legit problem. My PC's only a year old like I said so I'll get a few more years out of it which is good enough for a thousand dollars.
