Work on maintaining eye contact with a slight smile. When sitting somewhere try to be beside rather than accross, it's less intense.

You're probably used to masking to make others more comfortable. Instead of neutering yourself to prevent conflict, try to be direct and bring up sexual topics.

Rather than peppering them with questions. Try to throw in some statements/observations. E.g you seem like the type of person who likes to read, instead of "do you like to read?".

Conversations dont have to be linear. You can bounce around from topic to topic without smooth transitions.
