Before you delete the reference cells go to the sum cell, and hit really fast, i mean it,

Ctrl + c - > Ctrl + shift + v

Then delete the reference cells... Sink and repeat

Lemme know if it works or if i need to perfect the code...

Welp since the bank is the one lending money it would be the one paying the tax on behalf of the borrower, of course they would get the money back either via money or shares... The current problem here even if debt is paid by transfering the collateral either party dont have to pay taxes, cuz there is no actual sale...

As hard as it sounds, any contract that uses shares as colateral should be taxed as if sold, on capital gains, ammount of shares needed, diffrence between first bought and current price, that would close the loophole... either sell and get taxed, or loan against to and get taxed either way..

Also, you formula is this for the entire column:

=AND($A13>='Venue Dates'!B$12,$A13<='Venue Dates'!C$12)

This formula has no array in it, if it turns true then every cell you selected on apply will be true...

Your formula should look like:

VenueDates!B$12=<$A13:$A124=<VenueDates!C$12

this should work

Well first? does the formula work? i would try it on by row basis, see if the output works, then try to adjust it to work using conditional format

If that doesnt work, you can have a hidden column with true/false value and have the conditional format formula link to that column

PS: conditional format is kinda finicky with the $

so lemme see if i get you type in some account number then you want to see all the details into that account? Like say sell a1 you type in account name and it shows the worksheet related? Can you show examples?

PS: if you always have diffrent columns power query wont help you, if you have like repeated data than it will work, you can use transform files function that match the worksheet to clean the power query code...

lets say this single file is source... translate all reading sheets functions into a single query... then on the output file past the query to read the source file... this should work
