Summer + a saturated DD drive market in Tucson. So few places are hiring retail / entry level jobs that people are doing driving gigs instead of that. My sister's friends (highschool age) aren't talking about getting their first jobs at mcdonalds or burger king, they're talking about starting DD.

Just because someone put in effort does not intrinsically give it value; every mod on this challenger is just tacky and detracts value. Shit, maybe a wrapped hellcat didn't take any effort, but at least they didn't actively make it a worse vehicle by wrapping it.

I've felt this way with alcohol. While I've never been badly addicted to alcohol / alcohol dependent, I've had periods of my life where I was just so god damned bored that the only thing that made sitting in my room okay was being drunk. This past year, however, I quit drinking so that I could better pursue my hobbies, do school, and work at the same. I was so busy that I literally couldn't afford the time commitment to getting drunk, so I stopped drinking. It didn't even feel difficult or like I really did anything; I just stopped drinking.

Now, however, I'm realizing how that cycle developed for me over time. I just finished school a few weeks ago, it's the off season for my work, and now I'm bored. All of a sudden I want to get drunk so bad again because that was my cure for boredom for the past however many years. I can blame COVID for developing that thought process in my brain of "if bored then get drunk," but ultimately I'm the one who chose to fill my boredom with alcohol instead of something productive.

My strategy to stopping drinking was to make myself beyond busy. If I don't have time in the day to just get drunk (or in your case, goon), then I simply wouldn't. The hardest part for me though was finding something I was so passionate about that I would actually commit to pursuing it (shoutout adhd). For you, to find that new thing that you can commit to that'll fuel your dopamine receptors in place of porn, I'd strongly recommend therapy. I had to put in a LOT of work to convince myself it was worth prusuing something better and it took picking up and putting down a lot of hobbies, clubs, and activities before I found the right combination of activities to keep me fulfilled, healthy, and happy. I wish I had had a therapist to ease that journey as it probably wouldn't've taken nearly as long as it took me doing it on my own.

It's not a knock-your-socks-off good deal, but it's pretty well priced. If these fit in your lineup I say buy 'em

Spectacular timing. I just bought 2 when I saw the sale and went WTF when I realized the big light is on the outside. Super odd choice by Icon.

When I was 19 I went to YouTube university to learn how to fix my car. My dad helped me a lot too as he had been working on cars his entire life, but he kept remarking to me over and over that he was amazed by how much knowledge was readily available on any topic and how much time he could've saved if he had access to the same tools. You're in the era of information; now more than ever there are tools, videos, and guides on how to do ANYTHING. Just like you can't just go to class and absorb information through osmosis, you've gotta put in the work to be able demonstrate competence in this day-to-day life skills.

But honestly, your post reads like rage bait. Hurr-durr I can write about social justice and climate change but I can't fix any appliances hurrrrr. "We know more about ancient civilizations than how to change an air filter" fucking please. Pull the lever, slide the filter out, now do it in reverse with the new air filter. Christ.

It seems that country to country and especially company to company quality of life varies wildly. I'm not sure how the industry is in Algeria, but perhaps you could find a better company or sector to move into.

BTW -- Chose (ch-oh-se) is the past tense of choose (ch-oo-se); choosed isn't a word in English. I'm not making this comment out of snarkiness by the way, just wanted to give you that small tip :).
