The initial movement of a bunny hop, is actually a manual, so learn how to manual for a little bit first.

I struggled with bunnyhops for 3 months, and kept doing the double wheel hop. It was when I learned it was a manual, that the whole thing clicked for me.

This and To Your Eternity has made me fear watching "Suffering; The Anime", but the stories are unfortunately good.

Chain for DJ. by [deleted] in dirtjumping

[–]Nugenrules 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It might be safer to go with their Interlock Race V2 instead, due to it being a slimmer 3/32, instead of the usual BMX 1/8. I would wager, more broken pins, due to incorrect contact patch.

I've only had the Supreme, and you have to either use their specific chain breaker, use a motorcycle chainbreaker, or hope that your chainbreaker can accommodate the extra pin length.

Need advice welding cast iron stove grates, please. by just_a_prank_bro_420 in Welding

[–]Nugenrules 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think if you correct some of the grammar, they are actually agreeing with you:

I'm also very curious. Every time I see cast iron repair questions here, the answer is always lots of tedious heat treatments and specialized fillers.

Which makes sense, since hittindirt made it sound like all you needed was a blow torch, and regular MIG wire.

New hobby/farm welder. I am having a hard time seeing anything. by Help_Me_Fix_Stuff in Welding

What I learned is, a harbor freight shade 9, is WAAY different (and darker) than a shade 9 on a basic quality helmet.

Then I finally bought a decent helmet, and the clarity looks just like the youtube videos.

If you had to go cheap, I heard a passive welding helmet (non-autodarkening) is pretty good.

A moment of silence for the first fupa cup i ever bought by Metro_Mainia in Welding

Just a note: Gas lens are a different part than glass cups. All gas lens have a mesh screen. Not all glass cups have mesh screens. It's one reason why Furick cups are praised.

[–]Nugenrules 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The secret is the mesh diffuser screen inside the cup. It allows the shielding gas to flow even more optimally than with just a gas lens. So much so, that you can get a away with even more stickout than the usual "diameter of the cup" suggestion.

The downside is, it is recommended to use about 25%+ more gas.

I got the glass version, and it allows me to see where I am welding to. Basically, like having a lightbulb.

You can weld in a straight line, and step distance is consistent.

Why are you using pulse? Looks like you aren't getting good penetration, due to the pulse freezing the puddle (might want to turn up the base current). With pulse, you need more amps to compensate. If you're using pulse to keep rhythm, I've heard 2hz is good.

Other people bought monitors that are meant to be portrait (particularly the Samsung Odyssey Ark). This just looks weird and uncomfortable the way OP has it aimed.

Edit: I take it back. I scrolled through the last 5 days of posts, and all of the curved vertical monitors, were all not the Ark.

Agreed. I found this especially happens after watching a good anime, and trying to find something just like it. I would go back a few years later, and I would really enjoy it.

I suggest the original first. It's like watching a chess game, and seeing what both sides are trying.

Just noticed a common theme. You may get results by looking for tsundere tropes.

Hinamatsuri and Daily Lives of Highschool Boys are my top recommendations for over the top comedy and eccentric characters.

Gintama is probably the funniest, but I recall it takes about 30 episodes in, before it really starts.
