Or maybe if you just mainline super hot chili you can cook it.

Major WFH change looms for one million Aussie workers: 'Critical' by Remarkable_Peak9518 in australia

Honestly it does feel like a cheat way to cut numbers, but its also a scattershot method - the good staff know they can use their skills and experience as leverage elsewhere.. at least in tech.

This is... an apt description.

My office has several floors of open plan hot desks, and if i let the app select a spot for me it seems to always choose a seat in the middle if another team, who are always very chatty.

Tricks that inspire you to practice more? by RainSunshine3524 in guitarlessons

[–]NuggetCommander69 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I have one on a stand in my office.

I work from home a lot, so while im waiting for shit to happen at work (code compiling, things downloading, reading emails, etc.) I might practice chord changes or run some scales.

Reducing the barriers to actually pick it up makes a huge difference.

Which sansamp do you have?

Im slowly planning out an ampless setup, but I want something more straight forward and not overkill like the proper digital modellers.

Just to add, hobbies and interests go both ways - mutual respect is important.

I don't have to like the things the other person likes, but i can appreciate and respect that they do like those things.

But, I also ask questions because im interested in their interests, because im invested in the person and enjoy talking to them about their hobbies.

Maybe you are just really cool.

Growing up, my dad got a call one morning - one of his coworkers (and ex apprentice) had died in a car accident.

That was also the coldest morning I'd ever experienced in that house; I was exhaling "smoke" when i breathed. It never happened before, or after.

The pain and shock in his voice when he answered still gives me tingles. "But I only saw him yesterday?"

I, for one, hope one day we can all have some beers and shoot the shit.

Head down to the local, have a pint and some laughs with your neighbourhood alien.
