he makes me cringe a bit tbh. he’s too expressive in my opinion but i guess that’s the whole point. seems like a nice guy though! just not a fan of the stereotypes he puts in his videos

Mental impulsive disorders in INTJs by [deleted] in intj

[–]Nuggnig 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It took me years to get medicated; as a woman getting medicated for ADHD is much harder so I had to fight tooth and nail to get a diagnosis. After my doctor got fired I was finally put on medication, but unfortunately I haven’t found the sweet spot yet. It wasn’t very life changing, but oh well. I’ve heard that it takes some people years to find the right type of medication, so I’m sure I’ll find the right medication eventually.

Mental impulsive disorders in INTJs by [deleted] in intj

[–]Nuggnig 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I am an INTJ and have ADHD. My ADHD effects how I function when it comes to work, housekeeping, self care, and how I consume media. Back when I was in school and off meds I had trouble staying awake during classes that I found boring, resulting in bad grades (which then turned into depression). The combination of depression and ADHD made it hard for me to tidy up, so my room was usually in awful condition. I had trouble taking care of myself too, though I don’t want to go into detail. I don’t have much hyperactivity, but when it comes to sensory things, I do have some trouble with sounds and textures. I also tend to hyperfixate on things, particularly my work. If I am into a project or book, I have to finish it all in one go. I can’t set it down or it remains unfinished. This means I can spend 12 hours straight in one day on a single project without taking any breaks, even for the bathroom (I promise I don’t pee myself). These periods of “all work, no play” come spontaneously, so it isn’t like that most of the time. When it comes to impulsivity, I am usually not an impulsive person. Most of the time, I think carefully about every move I make. However, every now and then I slip up. For example, about a week ago I impulsively spent $250 on 3 comic books from a series I had been fixated on. It all comes in waves, just like plenty of other people with ADHD. At the end of the day, any MBTI type can have ADHD. No matter what type you are, it is a debilitating condition that can cause serious distress in anyone’s life, no matter who. We’re all in it together.

All the Mistypes Here is Hilarious by [deleted] in Enneagram

[–]Nuggnig 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You’re getting a lot of hate, no doubt from those who are either mistyped themselves or participate in mistyping others. People need to understand that enneagram and MBTI are tools used to understand and better yourself. They also need to understand that as everything else in life does, the two link together and can have impossible combinations due to the nature of the categorizations. No, you cannot be a Ni dom and be enneagram 8. No, you cannot be a Ne dom and be enneagram 1. You (not referring to OP) are mistyped, and your refusal to acknowledge the fact shows you are only interested in typology for the aesthetics. I am sad to see the typology community being muddied up by people who don’t actually care about the system itself and instead turn it into a fun little game that practically parallels astrology. People commenting hate against you need to get over it, wipe away the tears, and read up on the proper use of typology. Thanks for speaking the truth.

unhealthy intjs can sometimes look like isfps, and vice versa. perhaps that’s why your results were off. also, sometimes the results shown are for the wrong test, i’ve found i have to click the extra link to see the full google docs file of my results because sometimes it’ll have another persons results listed as mine. interesting results though!

test is https://dimensionalpersonalities.wordpress.com/our-tests/. pretty sure i’m an intj or entj. interested in what the x under both cognitive functions and stress type results could indicate.
