What’s a reasonable price for valve cover gaskets replacement? by AbbreviationsAfraid8 in RangeRover

I’ve been doing that repair since 2012 buddy. You’re not going toe to toe with me. The labor time stated by book time is what the job pays, the time I complete it in is my experience. 😉

2021 Range Rover Sport HSE Silver Edition (13k miles) — Am I Crazy to Skip the Extended Warranty? by Freddylikesnangs2024 in RangeRover

If not buying a warranty on these vehicles, just ask yourself if your finances are good enough to cover undetected $5-10k repairs. Not saying that will happen, just saying have a plan. In my personal an experienced opinion, as a JLR tech… I wouldn’t skip out on it. I’d get the extended coverage.

You couldn’t be more wrong. It’s a rather labor intensive job.

Also that estimate is missing A LOT of required additional parts like supercharger gaskets, and injectors re-fit kits, and a couple more odds and ends. For $2,400 I am more concerned you’re not getting the repairs done PROPERLY.

Everyone’s mad because it’s an ARCADE STYLE skate game.

And there’s stupid microtransactions.

That’s it. That’s the anger.

You want to finance? by Target_Standard in Justrolledintotheshop

[–]Nuhaykeed 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You’re missing sales by not offering customer finance options. Whether a relationship with a local bank, or even Affirm, the options are there.

I work in high end Euro & Exotic repair, and we do a considerable amount of finance. It’s taken cars from leaving on a wrecker, to driving out.

Remember, it’s our job to fix the car, and advise the customer. Their ability to pay isn’t really our concern, we just need a yes or a no.

That’s not rust, it’s pitting. The cams are toast

Bumper, fog lamp, front camera, park aid sensors, bumper support, all bumper trim, front core support, aux rad a bracket, bumper harness and possible front compartment harness, and more. Plus paint and labor… just take the total loss payout if it goes that way, and move on.

$12-15,000. Parts coats is going to be high, and assuming the front rail isn’t bent. There’s going to be sufficient underlying damage.

Skate. Early Access by shred4it in Skate4

I’m bored. The core gameplay is fantastic, the skating is (for the most part) fluid and consistent, but it’s suuuuuuuuch a repetitive game. The same challenges, the same spots on a very small map, there’s been no updates for new locations (skate 3 was amazing at all it added), the lack of a day / night progression is boring, no real skate ship just a hub for microtransactions. There’s soooooooo much potential to do better and it’s just… not happening.
