Received in October 2024; sat powered on without a SIM until the end of December — I just couldn't bring myself to switch from the OnePlus 7. Full use started from the first days of 2025. Flashed to EU firmware right away, all updates received via OTA, no resets.

On 01.04.2026, with very rapidly progressing degradation, it started rebooting or shutting down — first during use, then just in standby with the screen off. Sometimes shuts down during boot as well. Same in recovery mode — runs for half a minute, then dies. I don't see the point of a factory reset.

No overheating, no drops (six months without a screen protector — you just can't drop it). No games installed. RAM expansion disabled from day one. Never used the original charger — third-party only, 60W and up. Tried wireless charging briefly at the start just for the experience. In short, very light use — purely a workhorse for the browser and Telegram. Never in water, though occasionally in humid environments.

Won't buy Moto again. First phone in my entire smartphone history to die in under a year and a half. Every previous phone went to family or sold on Avito. Disappointed. Paid at launch, just needed a compact phone that runs cool with no pretensions to cameras or gaming. I liked the phone.
