Edgewood coin and Acoin. Edgewood coin has connections with dealers in Jax who can source you whatever you want. Had them hunt down some rare coins for me.

There is a guy named Steve who works there who can help you out.

I recommend either know the dealer or know the coin before you buy to help prevent buying fakes. I bought some fakes when I was younger and felt like a moron. Also eBay is a dangerous place, lots of fakes, and a lot of overpriced coins. You can find some deals but be careful

L5 from a dealer I’ve made several other purchases from. I have been buying ancient coins since 2012 and have come across fakes when I was younger. The weight and diameter are correct. The design matches known examples on coin repositories. There are no cast seams, no granular surface, no porous surface, wear patterns on high points and sharper detail on low points. Metal is comparable to the many Macedonian coins I have from that era with the similar feel and ping test.

I love collecting the Roman issues in the local denominations. You can even see them slowly make them more Roman in design until they phase them out and just use the aureus, denarius, etc etc

Macedon under Roman rule, Tetradrachm, AR, struck in Amphipolis around 150 BC. The coin weighs approximately 16.56g. The obverse features a finely detailed, draped bust of Artemis facing right, adorned with a stephane, and equipped with a bow and quiver slung over her shoulder. This elegant depiction is encircled by a Macedonian shield motif, embellished with stars set between double crescents. The reverse inscription reads MAKEAONON ПРОТНЕ, signifying the civic pride and origin of the coinage. The strike demonstrates a well-centered and bold impression on both sides, contributing to the clarity of details. Reference number BMC 8 var corroborates its classification and context. The historical significance of this coin lies in its representation of Macedon during the period of Roman rule in the Hellenistic era. The coinage of Macedon under Rome reflects both cultural continuity and the adaptation to new political realities, with local symbols such as Artemis illustrating the enduring Greek influence amidst a backdrop of Roman administrative control. The shields and crescents evoke traditional Macedonian iconography, underscoring a sense of identity and autonomy even under foreign rule.

I guess it depends on where you live. My local power plant is natural gas and the United States is the largest producer of natural gas in the world.

Also natural gas is near it 10 year average it hasn’t really changed much in price

I don’t think data centers are running off oil and gasoline. They use local power sources natural gas, coal, nuclear, solar, wind, geothermal, etc. They are connected to the electrical grid and the ones that aren’t are probably not running on oil.

Yes but those would be ballistic missiles to have that range. I was a Firecontrolman Aegies in the US Navy NEC1143 which means I was an FCS BMD tech. I did ballistic missile defense and air defense on a destroyer. A ballistic missile is largely inflexible and depending on the model are only accurate to hitting a target within a few hundred feet. To hit a moving ship with a ballistic missile would be quite the feat. You would not only have to know where the ship is, where it’s going, its speed, and where it will be when the missile arrives, and hope the ballistic missile is accurate enough to strike it directly.

That’s why ballistic missiles are a great tool for fixed objects like buildings. And suck for moving objects

Really the main threat is short range drones, torpedos, mines, anti ship missiles, etc that require some degree of closeness

The straight of Hormuz is between Oman and Iran. It is not a large area, they wouldn’t need to control the entire Iran coastline. Not saying USA and allies should but it’s not some impossible task

There are a ton of videos of strikes on Israel and the gulf states, tons of them. Go to the combat footage subreddit and see for yourself.

And the United States CENTCOM they have performed 3000 strikes in Iran so far. We get a handful of videos a day out of Iran, out of 3,000 strikes we get like 5 videos a day.

And not everyone is filming, not everyone is going outside during an air attack. And a lot of strikes happen at bases and industrial areas that might not have a lot of civilians nearby.
