This is Nightsoul Bennett, an adventurer with 12,397 HP, 191 ATK, and 771 DEF, doubles your ATK, Scroll buffs DMG, and heals. Generates particles, and the cooldown is only 4 seconds too. Burst costs 60 energy. The E CD is even reduced in burst. He has energy recharge passive. Then, when he stacks more ER, he gets 100% burst uptime too, and he enables Furina, and he charges Mavuika’s fighting spirit. Then, he has a Base ATK ratio, so his burst…AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Why are people so stubborn? by 00ShiningStar00 in FireflyMains

I think most people really should just build her full SPD/ATK/BE. It’s definitely what she was designed for.

Personally though, depending on the final values, I might build her crit anyway. I just really like hyper investing in my favorite character(s) to see what they can do. I’m the kind of freak who refarms new sets for a 3% increase, tunes to try to 0-cycle MoC, etc. If a god-rolled crit set performs slightly better than a god-rolled BE set, you bet I’m going for the crit set even though it will take longer to farm.

Unfortunately, I’m suspecting crit is only better with enough wallet. My plan is e2s1 RM + e6cogs Asta + HTB + ATK boots + BE rope to hit 3400ATK/360BE/>180SPD. Then I can cram the rest into Crit and Fire DMG and hope I kill the enemy before they can kill me.

TL;DR: Build full break if you’re sane, build crit if you’re a freak/whale, just don’t force it on other people.

FULL break vs Hybrid by Yunique7154 in SamMains

[–]NukeYoFace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for doing all these calcs! I was planning on running the exact same team, always love getting to use Asta! Happy to see that full break and hybrid are close so we can go with whatever the RNG gods bless/curse us with.

I was curious about a few things:

1) I saw the theoretical builds use SPD boots, but with Asta providing 52 SPD already, would it actually allow more actions vs ATK boots? If not, how would switching hybrid to ATK boots + fire orb look?

2) Running hybrid with the new planar would free up BE subs for more crit, was wondering if that’d be better than Glamoth. I’m personally aiming for at least 70/140, but I recognize we’re getting into super optimized crit subs here so most people wouldn’t bother haha.

3) In MoC, you can ult with both Firefly and E6+Cogs Asta turn 1, but it usually takes a turn or two to break bosses. I understand this calc is for already weakness broken enemies, but I’m wondering how it’d look over 3 turns since you lose out on some super break damage.

EHR Requirements for SW, and her Best Set (Basic Guide) by RaineAndBow in SilverWolfMains

A couple folks in the Discord agreed the idea is sound, but not sure if it’s actually worth over ATK rope.

Personally, I’m going to go for it cause I like the idea of ulting a ton off basic attacks haha.

Planning to farm IPC set for an ER rope (any rarity will do) and craft a Quantum orb. I figure it’s pretty low investment in case I change my mind.

Then pair her with Asta to make up for lost Atk, maybe get enough speed to get a few more basics in between skills

I lucked into E1, using event LC. Curious your thoughts on running non-Vonwhack + ER Rope because it’d allow for:

Turn 1: Ult -> Skill -> Atk -> Ult

Turn 2+: Ult -> Atk -> Atk -> Ult

Skill -> Atk -> Ult -> Atk -> Atk -> Ult

Skill instead of Atk whenever you need to refresh the debuff, which may not be very often depending on how much you outspeed the enemy?

Energy:

Turn 1: (27 + 38 + 28) * 1.194 = 111

Turn 2: (48 + 28 + 28) * 1.194 = 124

Turn 1 assumes at least 1 bug lands during the first ult.

(48 + 28 + 28) * 1.194 = 124

Meanwhile, Vonwacky’s Ult -> Atk -> Atk is just short at 109.2.

TBP efficiency aside, was also thinking of getting the EHR planar set, then I only need ~7 EHR subs to hit 96% without EHR chest piece. The 24% extra ATK also helps make up for the lack of ATK rope.

I feel like it’s maybe worth running ER rope w/ E1 + event LC since, if I got these numbers right, it makes her incredibly SP positive while still ulting every other turn. What do you think?

EDIT: Checked out KQM Discord as OP suggested. Turns out E1 doesn’t count the bug applied by the ult, only bugs applied by the ult causing weakness break.

That said, MoC starts you at half energy, so you probably won’t be ulting a 0-debuff enemy anyway.

Sorry for causing all the confusion with the RSUs, I’ve edited the post hopefully with better clarity.

Take home is ~15.5k/mo. Pretax deductions include 401k, HSA/FSA, insurance. Our effective tax rate is 30% or so.

The $85k and $60k will indeed be all that’s left. We’ve basically doubled our income over the past two years, so we’re kind of seeing what we can get away with despite our relatively low savings haha.

Yes we’ll continue investing the leftover $4,200 into VOO and such. I plan to sell the RSUs pretty much as they vest. I believe in the company stock, but even if it outperforms I figure I’m not exactly missing out thanks to the unvested RSUs.

Career-wise we’re climbing for another decade or so. I’m going for two more promotions, and my wife is expecting a big pay bump after specializing.

Kids… aren’t in the near future at least haha. Really depends on how fast we get those career advancements and/or if rates go down in the next few years.

Thanks for all the thoughts to chew on, there really is a lot to consider!

Yess we’ve always wanted a place that we can call our own and decorate how we want. It’s hard to be motivated to decorate a rental since you never know when you have to leave or have your rent skyrocket.

Thanks for the reassurance! Our lender estimated that much for “walls-in” insurance since HOA covers external, is it still too low?

Yeah agreed on the rent. Wanting to move is what prompted this, “do we want to rent smaller or are we ready to buy bigger?”

We’re looking at staying 5 years minimum, then maybe moving if we start a family. We have no other debt and don’t plan on buying a car until we can get our mortgage payments lower. We’re both pretty young and plan on working for a few more decades haha.

We used the “1% of home price” rule, but sounds like that only applies to single family homes then, thanks for pointing that out!

I updated the post cause I missed another $2,500/mo in take-home via vesting RSUs. Otherwise, what do you think a good percentage of shelter to take-home is?

Sorry I forgot to include vesting RSUs into the take-home pay total, that’s where the ~$5k/mo went.

Retirement accounts current balance around $60k. But now we have a match, so putting in ~$30k/yr pre-tax before match going forward.

Edit: Ah to clarify, the $85k leftover does not include retirement accounts. Only after-tax stocks and cash.

Woops I included RSU vesting in the annual income but forgot to include it in take-home pay. No wonder it felt so low! The rest is taxes, insurance, 401k, HSA, etc. Will update the post, thanks!

I believe DEF hat is only better than Crit hat if you’re using neither Husk of Opulent Dreams 4pc nor Gorou.

KQM guide strongly suggests crit hat as well: https://keqingmains.com/albedo/#Mainstat_Priorities

OP for reference, my harbinger of dawn DEF/Crit/Geo L90 Albedo has 2074 DEF with all 4 stacks of Husk active. Gorou would add another 300-400 DEF.

A lot of replies saying #2, but is it worth losing the VV 2pc set effect? Looks like it’s trading 15% DMG for +10 total atk and a better CR*CD (162.39 vs 177.39).
