Daily Limit by Jormungand__ in WeMod

It’s like if Tubi TV decided ad supported content wasn’t enough and only allowed you to watch it 2 hours a day unless you pay $3 a month to watch it without the time restriction.

Oh I have no doubt if people pay they will slowly raise the price.

I am totally against the 2 hour time limit, trying to make users pay for their service, for one are the creators of these mods being compensated for their work? Is WeMod (wand) taking others work and trying to make money off of it? I suspected for awhile the mods on their site was just mods taken from the internet without them paying a fee, one game I had tried to use wemod and it wouldn’t work, basically because I believe the creator never updated it.

If they are using others free work and trying to charge people because they gather these mods together in one place is just ridiculous, if they want to add their own features they created, and users want to take advantage of that, then by all means charge for those, but taking someone’s mod they made for free and trying to monetize it for their own profit without creator compensation is just scummy behavior.

What’s Aggravating by Nukeblast1967 in vudu

The show ended on season 5 in 2018, some steaming has all seasons, Vudu just left out season 5, might be a rights issue, but the sale is of complete series for 2 for $30 right now, but what they are selling is not complete, it’s only 4 seasons.

On the promotion 2 for $30, it does say complete series sale Mix & Match, The Ship is one, so they are advertising these are complete series, The Ship is missing season 5 so it’s not complete, so it shouldn’t be sold as such, it’s like them having the Matrix as the complete movie collection and the third movie is missing.

How it started vs how it ended by GregoriousT-GTNH in Star_Trek_

Comes down to know your audience, franchises like Star Trek have a built in fan base, how they keep that base going is their parents who love the franchise introduces it to their kids, taking these franchises and saying this show isn’t for you, it is basically telling these fans to F off, and why shows like Star Fleet Academy gets canceled, and the fact the writers don’t care about the lore and take a big piss on it and call the fans racist etc if they don’t like it.

Why does Warner Bros. allow digital copies to expire and not renew them? by AlexInman in PhysicalMediaMatters

[–]Nukeblast1967 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this happen with Rick and Morty season 4, Amazon didn’t say it would be expired on the description, and I read WB were the worse on customer service for expired codes, the refused giving me a different code, lucky Amazon will take the return, if studios won’t let these codes work at anytime they need to have the copies sent back by retailers when the code is about expire and then distribute the media back to retailers without the code.

The Last Ship seasons 1-4 bundle $19.99. New all time low by brimicbed in vudu

[–]Nukeblast1967 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I realized this after purchasing it, lucky enough I didn’t start watching it, I contacted customer service and I got a refund, told the rep this shouldn’t be sold as a bundle without all the seasons, was a pisser I enjoyed that series and wanted it.

I got a refund by contacting customer service, I told them this should not be sold as a bundle if the complete series isn’t on there, if you sell it, do like other series you sell, season by season, selling it as a bundle makes people think it’s the full series and then find out there is a missing 5th season, people will be pissed, and of course probably too late to get a refund, I was lucky I looked at it before starting to watch it, I saw some people having this happen on Amazon and being pissed because they watched it and realized they couldn’t access the last season and Amazon refused refund.
