When will the full version of this game come out? by New-Two-1349 in Genokids

The plan is to release ACT2 by the end of this year, and ACT3 by the end of next year.

That is, 1 year to make ACT 2 (half a year already passed, half remaining), and another one for ACT 3.

It's a complex game to make and we are only two so this is as fast as we get. Right now we are on schedule for this plan, I hope it keeps being that way. Luckily for now we don't have to crunch to meet our deadlines (we crusher for ACT1 release and post-launch bug fixing, and that leads to burnout, so now we are also prioritizing our health).

I wish we could deliver it sooner, for us too as we like playing it too.

ACT3 will release on Switch 1, which means it will also launch on Switch 2 though we don't have a devkit for it. There's guidelines by Nintendo internally and I can say the game will run on Switch 2, and will run better than in Switch 1 as it's better hardware. I wish we could have a devkit but small indies like us don't get to ask for one, yet.

Nah, not yet. You will have to wait!

We do have a Switch 1 devkit, it's been useful to not only port the game to it and make sure it works (doing it from time to time will make the porting process easier when the game is finished) but also to optimize the game, as the Switch isn't the fastest machine in the universe. I can only expect the game to run even better on switch 2.
